It can be a little hit or miss. I mostly like that the roles being played aren't typically elderly people tv roles. They swear, they talk about sex, drugs, they misbehave, and it's down right slap sticky at times and usually with shows where older characters are the leads everything is more gentile, trite, conservative and everyone walks around like they've just stepped out of the pages of people's friend. So I'm mostly enjoying the show for showing older folks as just like anyone else.
It's refreshing and dealing with LGBT issues is just an interesting bonus.
