Tyler Hoechlin is still apart of Teen Wolf, and his character hasn't been written off. They will bring him back at some point in this season or possibly 5B. He won't be a leading role, but still a recurring. I'm sure Tyler keeps in touch with Jeff, and they push around ideas, which has been said by Jeff in an interview. He talks with all the cast and asks advice, and runs storylines by them. I'm sure if something were to happen with this couple, Dylan and Holland would be the first to know. They can't really give anything away. Maybe Tyler was just hopeful, or maybe Dylan told him about some of the scenes they've been shooting together.

I try to help when I can. Tyler is a fan of S/L so it might be his excitement to see them develop more into their relationship.

He was in complete shock over seeing Lydia hurt. He couldn't move.

I wasn't expecting to have Stiles react to Lydia being hurt so that was a pleasant surprise. But like always no real follow up. And of course they couldn't visit her because only family was allowed in ICU......lol. But I did really enjoy the early scenes at the police station. It was something!

I'm so happy! Not that Lydia is hurt of course but how Stiles was about to go "out of his freakin' mind" because she was hurt. Did you see his face? And Lydia trying to reassure him because she knows how he can get about her? Best scene! And how it took her saving it over and over again before he would even think to check on anyone else?

I wanted a hospital visit scene though! Apparently he went but couldn't go in because she was in the ICU someone said? I missed it, have to re-watch. I miss sleeping in the waiting room Stiles

Yeah that Martinski moment they threw in flamed up the OTP fire in a lot of the fans! I'm waiting for the "ugh Theo!" moments because until he ran by Stiles with the belt buckle..we all knew what was up with lydia/stiles.

And I got such Stydia feels. The Stalia shipper in me feels slightly guilty

and as someone who is currently binge watching the X-Files on Netflix, they do have a Mulder and Scully vibe.
