I've backed away from the fandom since the start of s4. The Tumblr tag was unbearable but there are still a lot of S/L shippers that are not here for Marrish. Lydia/Aiden weren't the most popular either and they were together most of s3. I also think some might be disappointed because so much of Stiles/Lydia was from Stiles' POV. How Lydia feels about Stiles has never been properly addressed. None of their big moments get follow up. So Stiles moving on was kind closing the door on Stiles/Lydia (btw, I have no issues with him moving on or w/stalia). Especially since they never capitalized on having Lydia react to Stiles moving on or react to anything involving him/them.

They have made a lot of progess in the friendship side of things. They are close. Just wish we could see it.

I don't get why they have stopped giving Stiles and Lydia meaningful scenes together. I used to actually trust the writers when it came to them because they seemed invested. Until something actual happens, it's all just talk and teasing.

at those quotes from jeff. my apologies to anyone being optimistic. ignore my thoughts.

the idea that the writers room is torn. please. new characters can roll up and be paired with main characters. build up and development is hardly a requirement for tw ships. I just don't buy that after 4 seasons they are still undecided. Looking at the lack of Stiles/Lydia...#teamnonever is winning.
