I have no idea. Season four imo sucked for lydia. she was isolated from everyone. She barely interacted with scott/stiles. She was mostly by herself staring at walls or listening to recordings lol (if I'm remembering correctly I can't remember all that much:/)

im kind of gonna be pissed though with the promo next week if stiles walks right past injured lydia to malia, i wanna see his reaction to lydia being hurt and showing some of his feelings he has for her or else seriously this season is just occ!!

I guess this is where some Stiles and Lydia/Stydia fans have the divide. I already know how Stiles feels about Lydia, I don't expect him to shove Malia aside just so we can see his feelings for Lydia, nor would I want him to. I do think we will be treated to seeing him worrying about her.. but again.. last season the scenes we did get, were all of Stiles comforting and worrying about Lydia... I still have not seen one thing that would indicate Lydia has other feelings buried for Stiles, and that isn't Stiles fault or Lydia's.. that is the writers not bothering to follow through with all their build-up in season 3. Stiles has never pushed Lydia away, but with how some fans react, you would think that that's all Stiles does to her, and I just don't get that, it's not even remotely true

Hi guys, first post here. I really like Teen Wolf and especially Stiles/Lydia's relationships and Dylan and Holland's chemistry.

Just wondering... How would Tyler Hoechlin know that Stiles and Lydia are getting close again this season? Or am I missing something here? Posey wasn't at that convention so...

I mean Hoechlin isn't even on the show anymore, and he wouldn't even know what's going on in Season 5. Maybe I'm missing something here.

Tyler Hoechlin is still apart of Teen Wolf, and his character hasn't been written off. They will bring him back at some point in this season or possibly 5B. He won't be a leading role, but still a recurring. I'm sure Tyler keeps in touch with Jeff, and they push around ideas, which has been said by Jeff in an interview. He talks with all the cast and asks advice, and runs storylines by them. I'm sure if something were to happen with this couple, Dylan and Holland would be the first to know. They can't really give anything away. Maybe Tyler was just hopeful, or maybe Dylan told him about some of the scenes they've been shooting together.

Nothing Else Matters

The writers not giving Stydia any follow-up after big moments has been an issue since s3. Motel California, the kiss, lydia being his tether, lydia hearing stiles, stiles dreaming about lydia, and I could go on. They get these incredible moments and that is that. It's like Stydia is one big puzzle piece but the writers are not actually putting it together. It's frustrating.
