Unfortunately today I'm working but I'll take my day off tomorrow!
Today we celebrate the Greek Revolution against to Turkish captivation in 1821. In every city and even the smallest village, organized parades with the presence of Mayor of each town/village. In Athens the parade takes place outside Greek Parliament by the presence of Prime Minister. Regarding food tradition of the day, we generally cook fish (codfish) with skordalia (a type of cream with garlic and potato or bread or walnut). Along with the National Day, it's a Holy Day, too as we celebrate the Annunciation. __________________

 We celebrate our Indpendence Day on July 4th and it's a national holiday for everyone. Most towns have parades and people like to have a picnic or cookout, and there are fireworks displays everywhere. The fireworks are to symbolize the "rocket's red glare/bombs bursting in air" in our National Anthem (The Star-Spangled Banner). __________________

 It's been a strange week so far. I haven't felt much like communicating. This is the first time since last week I'm doing any sort of communication. I don't know why, but until today, I had been feeling down.  It's gotten to the point where I don't even tweet much. There isn't much in my life to tweet about. Maybe this is part of the grieving process, I don't know. I did get the CD/DVD of Ten Plagues. I've been meaning to watch the DVD, but haven't felt like doing that or listening to music either. Definitely not me.  __________________
