Mostly, I do not like Travis because he is violent and angry. Travis knew that Emmett and Bay slept together at Rivas Canyon, while Bay was still dating Tank. Travis didn't think that Tank might not be the safest person to send to a bedroom with a drunk Bay?

During the uprising, Travis didn't want Bay to attend Carlton their senior year, despite the fact she is the one who pulled the fire alarm and made the art for their movement. Even Natalie accepted Bay, but not Travis.

Travis bullied and teased Noah, and then hit him when Noah finally spoke up for himself.

Travis wanted to play the vigilante part when Daphne's food truck was robbed. He lied to the police about what he had seen, so he could beat up one of the guys who robbed them.

Travis wanted to sue John for firing him, after Travis cussed out one of John's best customers.

There's more, too, but those are the highlights.

I could enjoy Travis being friends with Bay and Emmett, if he would actually be a friend to either of them. I didn't care for how he kept manipulating what he wanted to happen, at Bay's expense this last season. It was completely inexcusable that he told Garrett about what happened between Bay and Tank. That should have been Bay's decision whether or not to tell Garrett. It was completely selfish and insensitive for Travis to do that to Bay.

I absolutely resent the character Travis because the writers blatantly tried to shove him down our throats as an unneeded replacement for the character of Emmett.

I will never feel the same about this show because of that dishonest move on the part of the writers. If something happened behind the scenes that required such a move, then the writers should have made it clear that Emmett's character was no longer an important part of the story. To toy with fans in the ways that the writers did is disingenuous.

Yeah, it's been painful. Emmett's story meant a lot to me. I connected with his character, and I believed his journey would shed light on my own. And then, we never saw Emmett's journey. It just stopped.

I could enjoy watching Travis and Bay. I wouldn't mind seeing them as each other's soul mates, as long as Emmett had a story, too. The writers could have paired Emmett with Daphne or with any guest star to explore his character in a relationship. Or the writers could have written a great story for Emmett with his career as a filmmaker or with one or both of his parents, as they blended their families. But we didn't see any of that.

Even the cyber-bullying story with Matthew wasn't about Emmett.

Emmett's story ended after he cheated on Bay with Simone. Up until then, I followed his character as he tried to come to terms with his parents' divorce and acclimate himself into the hearing world, as he entered a relationship with Bay. Then, it all ended. That's sad, too, because Emmett connects to the Vasquez family in a way that Travis cannot. Emmett has history there.

What are some of everyone's favorite Bravis or Tray moments from previous seasons?

In Mexico, I liked the moment when Bay unloaded all of her angst on Travis, and he apologized for not letting her know that Emmett was in a romantic relationship with Skye.

I thought it was sweet when Travis said, "I did it to protect you."

Nope, sorry. I like Travis, but I don't see any romantic chemistry between he and Bay. That isn't because of Emmett either. Bay and Emmett had plenty of romantic chemistry between them, but even if there were no chance of them getting back together, I still wouldn't think Bay and Travis would be a good match. I loved them as friends though.

I wish that the writers had paired Bay with Garrett. To me, that is a character that Bay could have fallen in love with hook, line, and sinker. Garrett could have completely swept Bay off her feet, to the point where she was saying, "Emmett who?"

If the writers could not tolerate writing a story for Bay & Emmett, for whatever behind-the-scenes reasons, then they should have paired Bay with Garrett. I watch this video, and I imagine Bay interacting with Garrett and all of his Deaf relatives. The storyline is limitless.

I read Nyle Dimarco's fun fact at the bottom of this YouTube video, and I think about Bay interacting in that world:

It would have been so exciting to see. The character of Travis doesn't open up the same family dynamics or potential, as the character of Garrett would have done. Plus, Garrett would have made Emmett feel insecure in a way that Travis will not, and I regret that missed opportunity.

Travis is better as a friend to Bay, in my opinion.

Since the writers went there, I would rather see Bay and Travis in all of their glory, or lack of glory.

It bothers me that, now, whether Bay is with Travis or with Emmett, whenever she is at a family function, both men will remember having sex with her and have this biological desire for her. That's why a person should not sleep with two brothers.

Bringing a spouse to a family gathering is difficult enough, without adding the emotional charge of knowing that your sibling slept with your spouse, too. Now, if Bay chooses either brother, then year after year, family events are going to be painful for one of them.

If Bay does choose Travis (or Emmett), then she needs to convince that man to move back to China with her. No one has time for that kind of emotional upheaval at every holiday gathering. It would suck.
