I don't think it was in character for Wade and if I'm being honest I don't think it was necessary for SP to retweet that article kinda seems in poor taste to me. I don't know I'm not trying to actor bash, but if he's going to do stuff like that then I think he opens himself for critism and to me him doing that kinda comes off like he wants fans to not like the character of Wade.

Yes I just think they are trying to calm some people down. The backlash must be greater than they thought they'd get. SP also asked Carina to stick with them because they are working hard. So that is all I took it as.

The writers made us believe Wade would never cheat on Zoe and that is the reason why most of us think the whole thing was OCC.

Well IMO they deserve every bit of backlash they get from this cause it was a very stupid move. There were plently of other ways to break up ZW and create drama but no they had to go the most contrived ludricious way possible a way that could end up hurting their chances for renewal. They can not be that stupid to have actually thought people wouldn't be outraged by this out of left field plot that only served to ruin the only couple that brought buzz to their show.

I agree. They made a mistake & they shouldn't get a free pass for that, but I do feel sorry for some of the cast & crew who are probably worried about their jobs right now if HoD does get cancelled.

Oh I feel horrible for Wilson he is like the biggest supporter of ZW he loves them as much as we do so I can only imagine his horror/heartbreak when he got the scripts.

It is really hard to grasp...

Supposedly it is not OOC for Wade to cheat because he was a womanizer and slept around while still married with Tansy (this piece of information was only given to us on 2x16 ).

But even if that was true... That was Wade before he met Zoe...

Saying that he is now in the same place he was before he met her is just ridiculous...

We saw how much progress he made since the pilot... He might still have a long way to go but he's definitely not the same person he used to be. And that change was brought about by her.

Yes I don't think they expected it to be so bad. Usually Carina and Tierney only tweet about the show but not that often. And rarely write anything. And they both wrote and tweeted. FB has been fun. At least people are talking I guess. It definitely reenergized some people.
