New York City. The city who has had the lowest crime rate since 2005 out of the 25 biggest cities in the United States. The police department has worked hard to keep that record, but lately it seems like the homicide rates are slowly beginning to increase. Some say it's due to the lack of effort from the NYPD, but the department knows that that's not the case. Due to this rise in the numbers the mayor has been calling the department every day to keep up on things which has made the Chief of Police feel more and more insecure. The department is cracking down on crime and and checking the employees for possible leaks. No matter what the case, the homicide numbers will drop even if it means losing some of the department's best workers.

Personality: Paul has a vehement desire to help the innocent people on New York City. He is the type of person that can bolster morale from anyone. He is sometimes a little too zealous and an over achiever and expects the same from everyone else. He becomes too engrossed in his career as well, not really getting emotionally involved with too many people.
Brief History: Paul was tall and lanky as a child, which he was made fun of quite frequently. When he reached high school though, he was an all star basketball player. He really wanted to move on to the NBA, but an injury he faced made that impossible. He had a great love for law and peace though, and when he graduated from high school he went to the police acadamy. That was where he first met Marla. She was beautiful, strong, seductive, and most of all she looked amazing in blue.
Unforunately for Paul two years into their marriage she was killed in the line of duty when she pulled someone over for running a stop sign. The guy shot her because he had an ounce of cocaine on him. After that he decided he wanted to work homocide to put killers behind bars. People called him 'El Mano Negro' The Black Hand, and he was very feared in the community. he managed to work his way up to chief of Police. Which is where he is now, never finding love again...his love is all about putting criminals behind bars, and making sure he has a straight arrow system.

Brief History: Carrie grew up in the big city, and it taught her how to watch out for herself. She went to an inner city high school and made some really close friends. Sadly, when they got older, her friends went down the wrong path and Carrie winded up all on her own. She decided that she wanted to protect people and not let them go down the same road that her friends did, and that's why she decided to become a police officer. Her hard work and determination has led her to the position she is in now.

Brief History: Fallon was abandoned by his parents when he was six days old and was shuttled off from one foster home to another, and when he thought he was gonna be adopted, he never was. So, at 16, he legally emancipated himself and got himself through school any way he could. Being a ward of the state was tough, but on the bright side, he figured out his calling was to be a cop. So, he joined the police force as soon as he could, and worked himself to the bone. He struggles with his identity at times since he never knew his roots, but he knows deep down that his parents are proud of what he has achieved, even if he has never met them.

Personality: Greg is a very casual individual. His old age starting getting the best of him quite a few years back and caused him to start slacking off on his work. Nonetheless, when pushed to his limits, he can still be a hard worker and he is worth the pay.
Brief History: Greg is called the “dinosaur” of the department. He has been there the longest and seen people come and go. He had a rather uneventful life until he decided to join the police force. That was when he really started to see some action. He met a woman at the station many years ago, and they fell in love. They got married and had two children together. Unfortunately, she was taken hostage by criminals who later killed her when the police department couldn’t figure out who they were. Gregor has always held a grudge against the department for that, but it has never affected his work… yet.

Boisterous and loud it’s impossible not to notice her. Penny’s life is an open book and she’s honest to a fault, if you don’t want to know the absolute truth then you should ask someone else. Penny’s moods are incredibly inconstant and she can go from rage to peacefulness in a relatively quick span of time.
Brief History: Penny was always exceptionally bright and never was part of a traditional schooling system because she tested at genius levels. She struggles to apply herself to things now because academics came so easily to her and she never learned how to deal with the structure of things. She joined the police academy at nineteen and as worked her way up to the level of Sergeant. She might have achieved a higher rank even at her young age if she had just kept her mouth shut.

Brief History: Born in the Bronx, Tricia's childhood wasn't exactly a happy one. Her father had been killed in a car accident when she was seven. Her mother had remarried several months after to a man who had constantly touched her in what he called her "happy place". Constantly she was told that if she were to say anything, that no one would believe her. It was only three years later that Tricia had finally revealed what was going on in her home. Her stepfather was arrested while she, her twin sister Jessica, and her mother moved to Hartford. However, just when Tricia thought things would get better, life with her mother while in her teen years were more of a cold, distant thing, more on her mother's side. After she graduated, relying on numerous scholarships and some money from her part time job as a waitress, Tricia moved out of Hartford to Parkersville to do a double major in Criminology and Law in Rowan University. She had failed to pass the bar exam, eventually falling back to the world of solving crimes, starting off as an intern before she had been promoted to her status of being a detective a few years later. Her twin sister currently lives in Boston and has seen her once in a while.

Brief History: Clementine Noelle Davies was born to Reginald and Layla Davies in Chicago, Illinois. She's the youngest of three girls and while she had a steady home life, she always felt her sisters got all the attention. She had always been close to her father, who, despite the fact he was a cop, he always had time for her. When he died, nothing was the same. She became sad and bitter and shut herself off from everyone around her. This caused her to lose her friends and her family didn't know what to do with her. She immersed herself in her school work and practically forced herself to get straight A's. After successfully completing High School, she went on to study at UCLA, majoring in Political Science. However, she became disenchanted with it after awhile and decided to drop out and enrol in the Police Academy. She graduated that with honours and after working for three years in the LAPD, she transferred to New York where she has worked for the last eight years or so.

Brief History: Donovan was born and raised in the upper east side of Manhattan, he had not intended to get himself in the world of law enforcement (although crime cases of sorts had his interest). Initially, he was pursuing a career in becoming a musician, having been musically inclined with the piano and cello. He stumbled upon working as a detective upon accident when he had actually looked for working in their office as a side job to make ends meet at age 19. But after having helped assist officers in one of the high profile case involving a former friend he had once knew, Donovan decided to take up going in to law enforcement full time and after years of training and experience, both physically and mentally, he had moved up the ranks to become a detective. Gone were the days of having to perform with his music but the desire in that had not died out.

Brief History: Jasmine was the only child and her parents always doted on her. They made it a habit to tell her everyday that she was beautiful, smart, and perfect in every way. They thought they were doing a good thing, but instead it made her become very egotistical. In High school she was the head cheerleader and was considered the witch of the school. She could have done anything with her life, but she wanted to have power...and she knew she didn't want to go into politics so she decided to be an officer of the law. She received her masters degree in psychology and then she went to the police academy.
She was immediately accepted into the police force and with credentials like hers she was immediately made into a detective, feeding her ego only more.

Brief History: Xavier grew up in New York City and has lived there his entire life. His family was lower class, and it didn’t help that he had numerous brothers and sisters. He went to the local high school, Parkersville High where he graduated with the lowest GPA acceptable. Xavier was known to be in trouble a lot when he was younger. Somehow, he got caught up with one of the local gangs, and everything went down hill from their. He spent his fair share of nights locked up in the local jail, just so he would be kept out of trouble. Finally, after he attended one year of community college, his aunt and uncle moved to town. His uncle was taking over the new position of Chief of Police. His uncle Paul got him involved with some of the police training, and Xavier decided to go down the path of becoming an officer. He knew that he needed to get his life on the right track, and the police department would definitely help him get there.

But every theater she auditioned for turned her down. It was during college when she met her now husband, the mayor of New York City. He was a business major with an interest in politics. He did very well, earning a job as a secretary for a well-known politician. Rhiannon married him when he found a nice townhouse for the two to live in. They have twin daughters who are currently students at NYU and a son who is trying to finish off high school with a clean record. Since Mr. Edwards became the mayor, they currently reside in a high-rise penthouse.

Brief History: Jessie Bryant is one of the many aliases this sleuth criminal goes under. Born in New Jersey, he was often shifted from one foster home to another until he was placed with a family at the age of 13. His adoptive mother had often treated him much different than she did for her biological children. Which isn't exactly the greatest thing when said adoptive mother had often taunted and intimidated him. At the age of 17, he left his foster home after he took care of the problem behind his back. Although he had started in his mid twenties, mostly of minor crimes of stalking and harassment towards young women, Jessie is usually on the road traveling finding a more calculating and creative way to kill his victims. Recently, he has taken up his passion for art and hiring models for his own use before he's done with them. With the constant move he has to make to prevent himself from being caught by the cops, Jessie usually alters his appearance.
