The BackStory

To Serve and Defend, the motto of the Parkersville Police Department in Parkersville, New Jersey. The department was founded in 1895, back when the town of Parkersville was one of the safest towns to live in the United States of America. Over the past century, the town slowly began to decline in security. And now it ranks number seven on the list of Top Ten Cities with the Highest Crime Rates.

Despite the high levels of crime, they are still some good people in the town that still deserve protection from their local police department. The police department has operated the same way for the last fifty years under Paul McKellen, the Chief of Police. But when he retired a new Chief was hired, and no one is quite sure of how things will flow under the new management.

Chief of Police

Name: Lydia Ferguson
Age: 55
Personality: Lydia has a very bold personality. She’s not always particularly nice, in face, she’s never nice. She is a self-starter and doesn’t believe in laziness. She an introvert, preferring to be alone instead of being in a large crowd of people. When it comes down to it, she’s a very lonely person and really just needs a friend.
Work Ethic: She is a very hard worker and believes that if everyone does there share, the work place will be a more pleasant place to be. She thinks that everyone should work as hard as she does and put as much dedication into their job. Of course, these are impossible standards to live up to considering work is Lydia’s life with her not having a family to go home to.
Brief History: Lydia was born the youngest child of four to Craig and Dana Ferguson. Being the baby of the family and both its advantages and its disadvantages. She was always picked on in her childhood by her older siblings, but she got all of the attention of her adult relatives. When she graduated from high school, she wanted to go into the military but her parents wouldn’t allow it. They didn’t want to see their baby do something like that with her life. So, she ran away from home and hasn’t been back since. She joined the army like she had always wanted to and enjoyed the years that she served. In was in the army that she met a handsome young man with whom she hit it off immediately. They had plans to get married, but he was killed in a tragic car accident. Lydia wasn’t quite the same until a few months later when she realized that she was pregnant. This baby gave her hope that she would have something to always remember him by, and she was only too disappointed when she ended up having a miscarriage. Lydia then joined the police forces, starting as an officer and working her way up to the Chief of Police. She moved from precinct to precinct and now is residing in the town of Parkersville.

Deputy Chief of Police

Name: Hart Powell
Age: 43
Personality: Hart is a very stern man. He believes in the letter of the law and is a stickler for both tradition and judicious application of it. He thinks in terms of what is “right” which sometimes comes off as unfriendly or cold. He has an excellent memory.
Brief History: Hart was born to Italian immigrant parents but was raised in Canada de los Alamos, New Mexico (population just under 400). Following his graduation from high school he applied to the US Naval academy and was accepted. Shortly after receiving his commission Hart began his career as a nuclear submariner. He served on four strategic nuclear powered submarines and three nuclear attack submarines, including tours as Commanding Officer aboard two different USS vessels. After serving Hart found that he no longer wanted to be a part of naval life, though he loved the service quite a lot. He joined the police force in Parkersville New Jeresy near where he settled after leaving the service. Hart has worked his way up to Deputy Chief of Police and is very dedicated to his job.

Personality: Adriana is one tough cookie. She is pretty stern, but can sometimes be very relaxed. She knows how to have a good time too. At work, she is just outgoing and bubbly, but on the field she makes sure to never even crack a smile. Adriana is very intelligent, she uses her knowledge in whatever situation she is in. She is definitely and extrovert, and she is a people's person. She is the one that you'd find right smack in the middle of any social scene.
Work Ethic: She believes in all work and no play would make everyone very unhappy. She believes in being a little lienent and having an over all good time. The job they do is serious enough, she did not believe in having all of the seriousness in work as well. She also believed that everyone in the force should be friends, that was the best way for them to all work together sucessfully.
Brief History: Adriana always admired cops ever since she was little. She practically grew up on the show. She always wanted to have the authority and power. Adriana was born and raised in Parkersville. When she graduated though, she wanted to leave the small town and she headed otu to the big city of LA and went to the police acadamy there. After working there till she was 25, Adriana decided to move back to town. She decided taht she really did not like how busy LA was, and she felt that there was just too much to be done there. When she moved back though, Parkersville was worse then she ever imagined. Growing up she never payed attention to the crime, but the crime there seemed off the wall. She then decided that she would do everything she could to help clean up the city and make it the way she remembered it from years ago.

Name: Antonia "Toni" Bell
Age: 36
Personality: She has always been very independed. She doesn't have much friends, well in Parkersville at least. She hates men who try to hit on her. She used to be a little harder before her incident, but now it's gone.
Work Ethic: She is a very hard worker, a workaholic in the deepest maning of the word. That's why she made it to the Deputy Chief of Police when she was 34. Now she is 36 and back to Captain. She wants her old position back and is ready to do almost anything to get it. She thinks she is always right.
Brief History: She was a Deputy Chief of Police in Boston, where she has lived since high school. She moved there from North Dakota where her family livs. Toni was a great cop, and great boss, until she and her team was taken hostage and she was shot twice to the abdomen. She changed, and was lowered to Captain and re-located to Parkersville. She is the niece of the new Chief, Lydia Ferguson, and has problems with her, which doeasn't make her return to work any easier. She has never really been in a serious relationship, she doesn't beileve in them.

Name: Estrella Sanchez
Age: 38
Personality: Estrella Sanchez isn't shy at all, she is a person who goes direct to the facts; she doesn't like people who hide things, she just can't stand them. Estrella is an outgoing person who loves spending her free hours with her friends at their favourite Café. She is a very though and strong woman, she is one of those people who don't get scared easily but she is always ready to help the others, especially weak people. When she has the time, Estrella like volounteering for the homeless of the town: she brings them warm food and clothes. Talking about men, Estrella becomes very distant: she believes in true love and not in one of those "one night stands", infact she isn't one of those women who sleeps with men without being in love with them.
Work Ethic: Estrella is a very hard worker, she loves her job and she'd really appreciate if some of the lazy Cops worked as hard as her. Estrella became Lieutenant of the Department last year. At the age of 38, Estrella is a powerful figure of the Department, she works even 15 hours a day. Serving her nation is all she wants.
Brief History: Estrella was born in the South California and she has mexican origins. Her grandparents moved to the US years ago and her dad was born in South California, the place where she spent 17 years. Right after High School, were she was a brilliant student, Estrella decided to move to New York where she became a Cop. Becoming a Cop has always been her dream: when her little friends played with dolls and soft toys, Estrella joined the boys in playing with guns, acting like Cops. Her family (she's an only child, born when the both of her parents were in their 40s) is very proud of her but they'd want their daughter to build up a family: Estrella isn't involved with any man at the moment, she just says that she hasn't the time for that. Right after becoming a Cop she was transferred to Parkersville, where she has spent all her career.

Age: 35
Personality: Penny is a ball of fire. Her temper runs hot, she’s unconcerned with people’s perception of her and she doesn’t adhere well to any rules she doesn’t enforce. Boisterous and loud it’s impossible not to notice her. Penny’s life is an open book and she’s honest to a fault, if you don’t want to know the absolute truth then you should ask someone else. Penny’s moods are incredibly inconstant and she can go from rage to peacefulness in a relatively quick span of time.
Brief History: Penny was always exceptionally bright and never was part of a traditional schooling system because she tested at genius levels. She struggles to apply herself to things now because academics came so easily to her and she never learned how to deal with the structure of things. She joined the police academy at nineteen and as worked her way up to the level of Sergeant. She might have achieved a higher rank even at her young age if she had just kept her mouth shut.

Name: Scarlett Swan
Age: 35
Personality: Scarlett's a very shy person, she is really introverse and she doesn't talk too much. Scarlett is afraid of committing mistakes and she gets in panic when too many lives depend on her. She has been through several traumas which have changed her character, making her even more diffident. Scarlett is one of those people who needs time to trust a person and she actually hasn't many friends.
Work Ethic: She is a workaholic, loves her job and would give her own life for it. Scarlett is a Sergeant and she hopes to become a Lieutenat soon, infact her role model is Estrella Rodriguez, a person she really admires. Scarlett doesn't care about spending many nights patroling the town because she couldn't imagine herself doing something different: becoming a Cop is what she really wants. During her breaks she loves studying police reports because Scarlett wants to be on the ball.
Brief History: Scarlett was born in New Jersey, in Parkersville. She used to live with her mom and her dad and her younger sister, Shanice. When Scarlett was eight and Shanice was five, the two Swan sisters had been abused by their father. They told their mom what happened but she didn't believe in them so the abuses went on for more than five years, when Mrs Swan found out the truth. Mr Swan went to jail where he committed suicide. Cops and shrinks helped the Swan sisters a lot and that's why Scarlett became a Cop, because she wanted to help people in trouble. Her sister is actually a shrink. During her second year as an Officer, Scarlett was shot right under her heart and she risked to die but the surgery went alright and she survived; Scarlett had to take six months off to recover though. At the moment she is not related to anyone, she is too afraid of men after what her father did to her and her sister.

Name: Patricia "Tricia" Laurent
Age: 39
Personality: Although tough as nails when it comes to her work, Tricia is normally seen as a down to earth person who can be laid back in a casual conversation but when asked of her childhood, she would be reserved.
Work Ethic: Tricia, as hard of a worker she is toiling under the unbearable hours, tries to keep her home and work life separate, but found this difficult due to the constant calls she gets whether it was from the chief or her partner. When it comes to her work, Tricia tries to follow the code of law, but there are times when the emotional aspect of the circumstance gets to her, which has placed her in deep conflict in doing what's right and what is under the law.
Brief History: Born in the Bronx, Tricia's childhood wasn't exactly a happy one. Her father had been killed in a car accident when she was seven. Her mother had remarried several months after to a man who had constantly touched her in what he called her "happy place". Constantly she was told that if she were to say anything, that no one would believe her. It was only three years later that Tricia had finally revealed what was going on in her home. Her stepfather was arrested while she, her twin sister Jessica, and her mother moved to Hartford. However, just when Tricia thought things would get better, life with her mother while in her teen years were more of a cold, distant thing, more on her mother's side. After she graduated, relying on numerous scholarships and some money from her part time job as a waitress, Tricia moved out of Hartford to Parkersville to do a double major in Criminology and Law in Rowan University. She had failed to pass the bar exam, eventually falling back to the world of solving crimes, starting off as an intern before she had been promoted to her status of being a detective a few years later. Her twin sister currently lives in Boston and has seen her once in a while.

Name: William "Bobby" Sloane
Age: 42
Personality: Bobby is a very stubborn person, when he wants something he just has to have it. The same goes with his job: when he founds an evidence, Bobby needs to match it with the other things and arrive to a conclusion. This is his philosophy both of life and of work. He is one of those man who likes to play with women, he hasn't problems in admitting that he loves the sex but not the women; infact he isn't related to any woman in this moment. Beside that, Bobby is a good person and a very good friend.
Work Ethic: Working hard and finding out the guilty one is what he does in his job. Spending many hours of his days at the Department is good with him, Bobby adores serving his nation and he hasn't problems in doing that for the most of his days. When he was younger, Bobby wasn't such a good Cop because he used to spend many hours flirting with the women and playing with the computer but once the Chief found it out and warned him: or he stopped with that or he'd have been fired. From that day on Bobby changed his view of the work and became one of the best Cop of the Deparment.
Brief History: Bobby was born in Louisiana where he spent a normal childhood with his parents, his two brothers and their dogs. He wasn't a good student during the High School because he hated studying but he got a scholarship for Football. Actually he needed that because his family wasn't rich. Becoming a Cop hasn't always been his biggest dream: he's wanted to become a Cop since the Junior Year at the High School when his younger brother Ashton was killed by a car in front of his eyes. That was his worst day ever and, as the guilty was never found, he wanted to become a Cop because he wanted to do more. After two years spent in Lousiana as an Officer, he was transferred to Parkersville where, after several years of being an Officer, he became a Detective. Now he is happy and works hard even if his life changed two years ago, when a girl he used to have sex with got pregnat and she decided to keep the baby. It was a girl who was named Ashley and Bobby sees her twice a month and sends monthly allowances for them. Bobby isn't involved with the girl anymore but he wants to be there for the baby girl, because she's his daughter after all.

Name: Kevin Bailey
Age: 48
Personality: He is very serious, he does not take jokes lightly. He can be known to be a stone wall. He does not show very many emtions and he is sometimes known to have a pretty bad temper with some of the criminals he takes in. He can sometimes have a softer side when it comes to the women in the force; this usually just is an occassional half smile.
Work Ethic: He believes in the gold standard. That everyone in the force no matter what they position they are in should go above and beyond their duty. Kevin does not cut any slack, he does not believe in slackers in the police force. Everything he does is always with 110% of his abilities.
Brief History: Kevin was born and raised with a military background, both his father and mother were in the marines. As soon as Kevin turned 18, he joined the Specil ops force in the marines. He retired at 40 and immediately went into the police force. He just wants to stay officer though, he does not want to duties that comes with the higher level. He mainly does this job, because he can not imagine living his life with out doing something for his country. He was married once, but she left him because she felt that he loved his country more then he loved her. That was the last time he swore he would ever fall in love.

Name: Xavier McKellen
Age: 40
Personality: Xavier isn’t a very friendly person to be around if you don’t know him. He’s great if you’re his friend. He likes to make jokes, and sarcasm is one of his best personal traits.
Work Ethic: Xavier is pretty lazy. He’s always been that way ever since he was young. His uncle (the former Chief) allowed him to work at the station without doing too much strenuous work. He mostly pushed papers and did little tasks for the other officers whenever they had something that needed to be done.
Brief History: Xavier grew up in Parkersville and has lived there his entire life. His family was lower class, and it didn’t help that he had numerous brothers and sisters. He went to the local high school, Parkersville High where he graduated with the lowest GPA acceptable. Xavier was known to be in trouble a lot when he was younger. Somehow, he got caught up with one of the local gangs, and everything went down hill from their. He spent his fair share of nights locked up in the local jail, just so he would be kept out of trouble. Finally, after he attended one year of community college, his aunt and uncle moved to town. His uncle was taking over the new position of Chief of Police. His uncle Paul got him involved with some of the police training, and Xavier decided to go down the path of becoming an officer. He knew that he needed to get his life on the right track, and the police department would definitely help him get there. He isn’t quite sure what he thinks about his uncle retiring, as Paul let him slide on a number of things. He’s afraid now that he’ll actually have to work and maybe even go out in the field.

Name: Katina Carter
Age: 39
Personality: She is very quiet and she is a little timid. She usually is the type of person that just minds her own buisness when she's at work. She hates gossip, and she is one to nip it right in the butt when she hears it. She has a very big heart, and she is sometimes called the momma of the group. That's how she appears though. The truth is Katiana is actually very conniving and manipulating, using her innocent looks to her advantage.
Work Ethic: She really does not have any. She believes in taking care of herself. She just tries her best to mind her buisness and tries to make sure she keeps up her appearance of being genuine and caring. She doesn't want to get on anyone's bad side, and she definitely believes in the don't ask don't tell policy so no one better ask her any questions.
Brief History: Katiana grew up with her father. Her mother died during birth so Katiana never had a mother figure in her life. Her father did what he could, but he barely could make ends meat so he ended up selling drugs and taking Katiana with him at a very young age. Katiana's father taught her how to steal, break into houses, and hot wire cars. She became an expert theif. When she was 15 she was caught selling drugs on the street, the officer raped her and told her that was her punishment for stealing. From that day forward Katiana hated cops. Since katiana had no record, she knew that she could become a cop. She went to the local acadamy and graduated. What bette way to get back at the force then to be one of them? Ever since she joined the force she's been helping the so called "bad guys". Telling them when they were going to get busted and still selling drugs on the side.

Name: Bradford "Brad" Bourne
Age: 37
Personality: Brad is an outgoing person who loves making new friends. He is very kind and nice to everybody he meets and he is never sad; a smile is alwasy on his face. Brad laughs easily, loves playing jokes and he is such a kid inside. Brad is not shy or diffident, he talks to everybody and it's hard to make him angry. He is scared of getting really hurt at work, though. Brad doesn't like to see people suffer and that's why he has been helping poor kids since ten years.
Work Ethic: He doesn't like working so hard, lazy is his middle name. Brad does his job but nothing more. He hates when he has to stay more at work and he actually doesn't any extra hour. Brad thinks that eight hours per day are already too much and he asks for many permissions, that's not because he dosn't like his job but because he wants to have his own life and working hard is not for him.
Brief History: Brad was adopted by a rich new yorker family when he was only one month: his parents abandoned him at the hospital because they were both seventeen and they didn't want to take care of a baby. Brad loved the people who adopted him as they were his real parents; he had an older step sister which were fifteen years older than him. Mr Bourne was a Cop, the Chief of the New Yorker Dipartiment so he kinda obliged Brad to become a Cop himself so after the High School Brad became a Cop, making his daddy very proud of him. Infact his older sister, Brooke, is a Cop too; it's some sort of a tradition in their family. Bradford fell in love with another Cop of the New Yorker Dipartiment when he was thirthy-four years old and they got married two years after it. The wedding didn't last though: after Kelly, his wife, lost their baby (she had a spontaneous abortion) they broke up and got divorced. Both Kelly and Bourne asked to be transferred and he moved to Parkersville. He has had other women after Kelly, but nothing serious because he doesn't want any relationship at the moment. Brad is a newbie at the Parkersville Dipartiment and he is an Officer.

Name: Bonnie Martin
Age: 25
Personality: Bonnie is a new officer to the department and as such she is green around the gills in everything she does. This effects her personality around those she works with. She is shy, to a degree and very eager to please. Due to Bonnie’s upbringing and lack of a lack of a father figure she tends to go towards some males that aren’t always the best for her. She has lost daughter syndrome in a way, meaning that without the father figure she is lost….she needs a man in her life. She’s a very sexual being but doesn’t let that get out at work. Generally a sweetheart though, in all that she does, she has, when called for what some would call a soft touch.
Work Ethic: Being new to the department Bonnie is eager to prove herself in all that she does, maybe too eager? She thinks that you do a job to the best of your ability, period…end of sentence. Slacking is not okay with her, especially with what they do.
Brief History: Bonnie Martin’s mother, Renee recently passed away because of breast cancer and in her will she left all the information her daughter would need through a private investigor to find her father. The young woman, learned about her father being a officer with the police department and moved and transferred (Yes, oddly she was already a young officer, a recent recruit, like father like daughter?) She knows her father is Kevin Bailey who had a fling with her mother, back in the day, she just doesn’t know how to inform him of this.

Lawyer

Name: Dante McKenzie
Age: 37
Personality: Although not humorous, nor tries to be, Dante has a tendency to crack something witty, whether serious or out of sarcasm. Dante has acknowledged his feelings for most of his peers only as a working relationship but there are those very few he has really opened up to.
Work Ethic: Despite his sarcasm, Dante takes his job seriously when it comes to representing his clients. He usually works more as a prosecution attorney but has, from time to time, represented the defendants/criminals, sometimes to the dismay of those who are on the force.
Brief History: Born in a middle class neighborhood, Dante's parents were not always around due to their careers. His mother was a cabaret dancer while his father was a doctor who worked long hours in to the night. During his teen years, Dante had entered his rebellious stage, mostly having committed minor incidents such as assault and carjacking, to shoplifting. Although his father was disappointed in him, he had once advised Dante out of sarcasm that he should become a lawyer since he had such a tendency to lie most of the time. ("They make a lot of money and you can move out when you get to school.") Taking his father's advice, Dante found the world as a lawyer not only challenging but something that came to him naturally. By his second year in law school, he moved out from his parents' home and to a home in the suburbs a few towns over. He had been lucky enough to pass his bar exam, knowing that not a lot of potentials had passed the first time.

Former Chief of Police

Name: Paul McKellen
Age: 58
Personality: He is very tough, he has the I don't give a crap attitude and he really meant it. He is a man of his word, and you can always trust him. He rules everything in his life with mostly an iron fist. He can be very caring though. He has a very open heart for people in his family, he is definitely a family man.
Work Ethic: He was very straight foward, he told everyone what he expected out of them. There were really no room for slackers, except when it came to his nephew. He always had a hard time not showing favoritism towards him. Besides that he had a high quota for his force, that always had to be met. He believed firmly in cleaning up the streets as much as you could, and not letting anyone slide for any reason.
Brief History: Paul was the only brother in his family that actually made something out of himself. He had two other brothers, one ran off when Paul was seventeen with some girl and he was never saw again and then his other brother went off and had a family. Paul joined the military and was a Security Police for the airforce for eight years and when his eight years were up he married and decided that it was time for him to settle down and join the police force; where he immediately moved up teh chain and eventually became the chief. When he married he found out that unforunately his wife was unable to have kids because she had ovarian cancer. That was no problem for Paul though, because he loved her more then life. When she died a couple of years ago, Paul was having a hard time focusing on work. That was when he decided that it was time for him to retire, everything was just too much for him. He still keeps an eye on things though, because he's realizing things are not the same since he stepped down and he sometimes regrets his decsion.

Janitor

Name: Carlton “Carl” Fischer
Age: 61
Personality: Carl has always been very quiet but, on the contrary, he is also very friendly. He doesn’t know many people outside of the station, and he doesn’t plan to meet anybody. His routine is go to work, go home, sleep… and Rinse, wash, repeat. He’s very shy when he’s around unfamiliar women, and he’s especially afraid of the former Chief of Police, Paul McKellen.
Work Ethic: He is a very hard worker and is very good at his job. Carl has been a janitor his entire life, and he enjoys that type of work so that’s all that really matters. He’s worked at all different types of businesses, but he definitely prefers the police station in Parkersville to all of them.
Brief History: Carlton had a very uneventful childhood. He was raised in a full family consisting of a mother, a father, and two older brothers. Carl had always liked to read, but it didn’t exactly work out for him. His brothers always teased him and told him how he would never get a girl if he just laid around the house and read all of the time. And in a way, they were right. Carl has never been married, and he hasn’t really been in any serious relationships. He’s had a few crushes throughout the years, but nothing he ever acted upon. When he was young, he wanted to be a writer and went to the community college, majoring in English. But then when he got out into the world, he realized that it was never going to work out, so he got the first job that he could find out of the yellow pages… A janitorial position. And he’s done the same thing for his entire life.

Criminals

Name: Giselle Ramone
Age: 29
Personality: Giselle was the type to look out for herself, regardless of the cost that it would have on others.
Work Ethic: Giselle usually sees a lot happening in the neighborhood when it comes to crimes. Criminals and civilians alike would crowd in the bar where she worked as a lounge singer. Although she doesn't indulge herself with the authorities, she is usually willing to trade in some information or (on an occasional basis) perform a favor in exchange for cash or other goods. However, having a somewhat tie to the world of criminals makes this a bit risky at times.
Brief History: Everyone has dreams they want to fulfill by the time they hit that certain age. Born Lisa O'Riley, Giselle had always dreamed of performing in films and theater. Somewhere along the way, during her junior year of high school, she had fell in to a phase where she would lounge around late at night and hang out with her "friends" who hook her up with free passes to bars and hanging out in places such as the Chinatown area in hopes of earning herself some cash. Why not? Her mother had died while she was ten, her father always working (though he had never specified what kind of job he did) and never really home. By the time she reached of legal age, she changed her name to Giselle, wanting to do away her old past.

Personality: Christopher could be the most charismatic person one has had the chance to meet....if they were unaware of his line of career. He could be one's friend or the worst enemy they ever had.
Work Ethic: "Take no mercy." That was a belief that Christopher lived by. There are times that he could be a benevolent angel and may offer a second chance. However, just as the devil, there will be dire consequences, a price to be paid in return for their lives spared. He usually recruits his subjects by giving out his business card and simply stating the fact that he was looking for "models".
Brief History: Christopher Statler is one of the many aliases he goes under, almost always constantly on the move or changing identities and appearances per say in order to evade the authorities. His father had once ran a drug ring but had been arrested when Christopher was in his early teens. Although he didn't follow his father's footsteps of stepping in to the drug world, he always had an interest in women and art. His idea of art, however, is far beyond the basic idea of a canvas and watercolor paint. Nothing wrong with getting a little creative in this day and age, no? Christopher sees women as mere objects that he could manipulate, and possibly destroy if necessary. An ode to his past life where he had been dumped by his girlfriend after she had caught her cheating on him.

Personality: Lydia has a very bold personality. She’s not always particularly nice, in face, she’s never nice. She is a self-starter and doesn’t believe in laziness. She an introvert, preferring to be alone instead of being in a large crowd of people. When it comes down to it, she’s a very lonely person and really just needs a friend.
Work Ethic: She is a very hard worker and believes that if everyone does there share, the work place will be a more pleasant place to be. She thinks that everyone should work as hard as she does and put as much dedication into their job. Of course, these are impossible standards to live up to considering work is Lydia’s life with her not having a family to go home to.
Brief History: Lydia was born the youngest child of four to Craig and Dana Ferguson. Being the baby of the family and both its advantages and its disadvantages. She was always picked on in her childhood by her older siblings, but she got all of the attention of her adult relatives. When she graduated from high school, she wanted to go into the military but her parents wouldn’t allow it. They didn’t want to see their baby do something like that with her life. So, she ran away from home and hasn’t been back since. She joined the army like she had always wanted to and enjoyed the years that she served. In was in the army that she met a handsome young man with whom she hit it off immediately. They had plans to get married, but he was killed in a tragic car accident. Lydia wasn’t quite the same until a few months later when she realized that she was pregnant. This baby gave her hope that she would have something to always remember him by, and she was only too disappointed when she ended up having a miscarriage. Lydia then joined the police forces, starting as an officer and working her way up to the Chief of Police. She moved from precinct to precinct and now is residing in the town of Parkersville.

Personality: He is very serious, he does not take jokes lightly. He can be known to be a stone wall. He does not show very many emtions and he is sometimes known to have a pretty bad temper with some of the criminals he takes in. He can sometimes have a softer side when it comes to the women in the force; this usually just is an occassional half smile.
Work Ethic: He believes in the gold standard. That everyone in the force no matter what they position they are in should go above and beyond their duty. Kevin does not cut any slack, he does not believe in slackers in the police force. Everything he does is always with 110% of his abilities.
Brief History: Kevin was born and raised with a military background, both his father and mother were in the marines. As soon as Kevin turned 18, he joined the Specil ops force in the marines. He retired at 40 and immediately went into the police force. He just wants to stay officer though, he does not want to duties that comes with the higher level. He mainly does this job, because he can not imagine living his life with out doing something for his country. He was married once, but she left him because she felt that he loved his country more then he loved her. That was the last time he swore he would ever fall in love.

Personality: Adriana is one tough cookie. She is pretty stern, but can sometimes be very relaxed. She knows how to have a good time too. At work, she is just outgoing and bubbly, but on the field she makes sure to never even crack a smile. Adriana is very intelligent, she uses her knowledge in whatever situation she is in. She is definitely and extrovert, and she is a people's person. She is the one that you'd find right smack in the middle of any social scene.
Work Ethic: She believes in all work and no play would make everyone very unhappy. She believes in being a little lienent and having an over all good time. The job they do is serious enough, she did not believe in having all of the seriousness in work as well. She also believed that everyone in the force should be friends, that was the best way for them to all work together sucessfully.
Brief History: Adriana always admired cops ever since she was little. She practically grew up on the show. She always wanted to have the authority and power. Adriana was born and raised in Parkersville. When she graduated though, she wanted to leave the small town and she headed otu to the big city of LA and went to the police acadamy there. After working there till she was 25, Adriana decided to move back to town. She decided taht she really did not like how busy LA was, and she felt that there was just too much to be done there. When she moved back though, Parkersville was worse then she ever imagined. Growing up she never payed attention to the crime, but the crime there seemed off the wall. She then decided that she would do everything she could to help clean up the city and make it the way she remembered it from years ago.

Age: 40
Personality: Xavier isn’t a very friendly person to be around if you don’t know him. He’s great if you’re his friend. He likes to make jokes, and sarcasm is one of his best personal traits.
Work Ethic: Xavier is pretty lazy. He’s always been that way ever since he was young. His uncle (the former Chief) allowed him to work at the station without doing too much strenuous work. He mostly pushed papers and did little tasks for the other officers whenever they had something that needed to be done.
Brief History: Xavier grew up in Parkersville and has lived there his entire life. His family was lower class, and it didn’t help that he had numerous brothers and sisters. He went to the local high school, Parkersville High where he graduated with the lowest GPA acceptable. Xavier was known to be in trouble a lot when he was younger. Somehow, he got caught up with one of the local gangs, and everything went down hill from their. He spent his fair share of nights locked up in the local jail, just so he would be kept out of trouble. Finally, after he attended one year of community college, his aunt and uncle moved to town. His uncle was taking over the new position of Chief of Police. His uncle Paul got him involved with some of the police training, and Xavier decided to go down the path of becoming an officer. He knew that he needed to get his life on the right track, and the police department would definitely help him get there. He isn’t quite sure what he thinks about his uncle retiring, as Paul let him slide on a number of things. He’s afraid now that he’ll actually have to work and maybe even go out in the field.
