I like it. Her mom wasn't around in 99% of the books anyways. She got most of the information from her grandma. Now let's hope they don't end up killing grandma off. __________________

In response to a few posts back...
The books are called secret circle because most outsiders in america do not know about witches. Cassie says new salem isn't even on the map (it's a tiny island). From what I understand, the town is made up of entirely of descendents from salem, mass. So the townies with no magic powers were referenced as slaves to witches a few times in the books as well. Also I believe the creation of the modern coven was supposed to be sorta taboo, making all the kids hunt down various books of shadows. I really, really, hope all coven members live on the same street still. I love that lore in the fandom. I love the pacific nw, my bf was stationed there for 4 years, so I know it well. Washington is very gothic. But still, I wish KW was filming on the east coast like the books. Last edited by badboysarebest; 08-11-2011 at 03:03 AM |

Hmm yes it seems like Cassie and Nick at least are neigbours, maybe that means they all live on the same street still. I hope so, I liked that part of the books too.

How do you guys like the casting? I wish they would have gotten a dark haired Nick. Totally more like my type. [Actually, my bf fits the description in the book, haha]
I dunno. In my head, Nick looks like a sexy greaser or something. I love Shelley as Diana, even though she doesn't have her hair. Strange for kw to not cast someone with Diana's hair since Cassie talks about it so much! I think for Diana's part it came down to the chemistry reading. Phoebe mentions in an interview that they tested the Faye and Diana dynamic. |

Well I don't know, I always saw Nick having a lighter hair, but in my mind I visioned it short. I don't remember what color it was suppose to be in the books actually, I think I mised that part.
And yeah it was a bit odd that they wanted a dark haired Diana since she was suppose to be all light, but then I love Shelley's hair a lot. |

Yeah, I was surprised about the Nick casting.. but I'm sure it will be fine. the characters don't have to be exact alike.
Yeah. I hope they live all on the same street. |

Ahhh... so does no twins mean no hendersons - period? As in Kori? Damn, I really love the plot device of Kori's death in the books. I just like the idea of Cassie's initiation being a tricky thing.

Yeah, none. Doug was in the original script, but for some reason took him out.
