Heh I think Emilia could work well!
As for Catherine, that picture is 14 years old, so she is about 40 now. She is absolutely beautiful but I think you will see the age gap in comparison to François and I think Charlotte was younger than him.

And would have been a good one - she does look in that picture as if she was ideal for the role. So someone like her but younger. Any ideas?
I love the Emilia Clarke thing more and more. I might re-read my story that had Isabella and Cesare talking about Lucrezia and picture her as Isabella.

I saw her in this mediocre horror movie Demons Never Die and she was one of the few who could act. She was also in Shank with Kaya Scodelario and did a movie with Holliday in 2010.

I remember darkly that she was in an episode of Lake Rise to Candleford.

I added the new King of France plus wife to the list as well as Carlotta d'Aragon who Cesare initially wanted to marry to get closer to the throne of Naples.

I need to give my choices more thought. In the meantime -- anyone else, please?

So I gave it a bit more thought and I think I would have:

Jean-Hugues Anglade as the next French King "Louis XII"


Virginie Ledoyen as his Queen, "Anne of Brittany"


Carina Caputo as "Carlotta d'Aragón" whom Cesare chased before he had to settle for Charlotte d'Albret.


I feel it's only fair we choose French actors for the French court. Well, Carina is French-Canadian but anyway - Carlotta lived at the French court.
