So Lucrezia gets poisoned too...woah!!!! That guy was just smirking like an idiot when she dropped on the floor like a corpse. And we see her being carried way by body guards (?).

This is all amazing yet also confusing???
Well, if TV Guide wasn't enough, seeing them in bed together (it is definitely his profile in the boobgrab scene, and there's a scene of her lying on top of him as he grabs her neck) confirms that Cesare and Lucrezia are definitely going at it this season. A lot, from the looks of it. But why? It looks to me like she's definitely genuinely happy in that bed scene, so I won't even begin to guess. And it's also looking, judging from her funeral garb, that someone is dying/being buried. We could say that they dug up Juan, because I saw that the coffin from the early promo was being pulled by horses. But that seems... really unlikely. It doesn't move the plot forward. Which leaves A) Dream sequence--what if we have to bury Dad? But there are lots of dream sequences going on in Rodrigo's head, so that seems unlikely B) Alfonso. Might he die sooner rather than later? Lucrezia's definitely bitter when she says ambition rules her family. It's either over Alfonso or her baby being taken, I think. I originally thought that Alfonso would die at the end of the season, leaving the reunification of C/L for next season. But if this is the last full-order season, they may want to bring the family to their darkest point and end on a high-note before a shortened season/movie. |
