My only doubt is that Jaime knows that he can be reconized, even with the beard, so maybe he wants to do a drastic change.

It was a terribly awkward thing, kissing the Maid of Tarth.
For one thing her lips were like stone. There was no movement, no warmth within them. There was probably more life in the foundations of the Red Keep than in Brienne’s lips. It’s the damn beard. She’s probably got a mouthful of hair right now and it’s put her off, he thought ruefully. At least she isn’t trying to devour me like a fish. Then there was the matter of her hands. Her fingers were splayed unevenly about his face in all the wrong places, and the pressure they applied was far too strong for this sort of thing. You’re gripping a person, not a sword you silly woman, thought Jaime, feeling slightly irritated. And then there was the slight problem of Jaime himself having only one hand. The Kingslayer attempted to clasp Brienne around the waist and draw her close to him, but between the knight’s ungainly figure and the clumsiness of Jaime’s left hand, it was impossible for him to find secure purchase. He let the arm drop back to his waist, deciding to leave all the grabbing to Brienne, at least for the time being. And yet for all the terrible, awkward, and uncomfortable elements that comprised this kiss, it was the sweetest, honest and most loving kiss he had ever received in his entire life. Wooden lips and poor handling and crippling injuries did not diminish the surge of emotion that was running through him - that was running through both of them. He opened one eye to see the flush on the wench’s face, her muscles twitching rapidly in response to this new and strange sensation. Our first kiss, thought Jaime offhandedly. A horrific, ungainly and oddly fitting mess. He wouldn’t have had it any other way. The other day I was watching the Jaime/Brienne scenes from episode eight. I love the moment after Jaime says, "Look at you..." in that scornful way because it's one of the first times that she really looks at him. I imagine that he notices how beautiful her eyes are in that moment.
Then I noticed that Jaime has so many opportunities to knock her into the water. He could kick her or... when he's sitting in the boat and she's balancing he could rock the boat... but he doesn't. I mean... I know he wants to get to King's Landing but still. I choose to endow those moments with special, romantic significance.  __________________
