Yep, i've always found interesting how the death of both their parents parallels somehow. They both feel like they killed them because their actions led indirectly to their deaths (even if they were good actions per se, she wanted to save everybody, he wanted to give her sister a gift).

About Bellamy/Octavia: the problem with those two is that they aren't only siblings...they have even a parent/child relationship. They didn't have a father, so basically Bellamy played that role for Octavia since she was born (and maybe he was kind of her mother too because Aurora didn't seem to me the nurturing type frankly speaking). So Bellamy is always there when Octavia needs him but we don't see the other way around happening often because of their parent/child relationship. So yeah, he doesn't open up with her, with Octavia is always about her problems, her pain and so on. With Clarke he has a different relationship, one that is based on mutual ground, and mutual understanding.
