Lux contemplates cheating on an exam - Worried she may not pass an important exam that will help her stay in school, Lux (Britt Robertson) contemplates buying the answers to the test from one of her classmates. Cate (Shiri Appleby) has an "interesting" day at the radio station after she accidentally eats banana bread laced with pot. Meanwhile, when a large sum of money is missing from Cate's wallet, Ryan (Kerr Smith) and Cate (Shiri Appleby) argue over who may be responsible for taking the money. Kristoffer Polaha and Austin Basis also star. Nick Marck directed the episode written by Taylor Hamra.

I know I could understand it once because there was a lot of pressure and she didn't really have a lot of time to study but I thought after Baze's speech and that fact that she was so proud of him for getting the job that she would at least try to do well in school

I'd really love a father/daughter talk at this point. I know Eric will probably be the voice of reason for her now but this is where her father or mother should step in.

Ya Im sure it will be Eric talking to her about school and stuff but you're right Cristal it should be her parents doing it. I'd really love a father/daughter talk because I think Lux will feel too much pressure coming from Cate

Sometimes contemplating is just as bad though, don't you think? Especially the way Nat puts it. At the end of the last episode she was so proud of Baze actually working for his new job and his pep talk - you'd think she'd really want to make him proud the right way.

I agree with you guys.

1. It makes me sad that Lux would even contemplate cheating again after Baze's pep talk, how proud of him she was for actually earning his new job, and how proud her parents were of her when they thought she earned her A. I can understand her still feeling pressure to excel in school - especially now that Cate believes she can get an A, but I would think she would feel so guilty that she would at least TRY to do well in school on her own. Like you said, Cristal, you'd think she'd want to make them proud the right way.

2. I definitely want Cate and Baze to find out about the cheating this episode.

3. I want Lux to talk to one or both of her parents about school, the pressure she feels, etc. - not just Eric. I agree, Nat, Baze would probably be the best choice. I wonder how Ryan will react to Lux cheating?

4. Yeah, Cristal...the episode description does make Kris sound like a supporting character But we all know he'll have a big part - with the whole Ryan finding out about Baze sleeping with his sister thing.

5. Can't wait for "high" Cate.
