It will be interesting whether they do a "Will they/Won't they" given we know ultimately Gibbs ends up marrying three more times, and none of them have this character's name. Diane, Rebecca and Stephanie.
Looking forward to the show. I am curious since we know so much about Gibbs, and yet we don't know his early years as a NCIS agent. __________________

We know the heartbroken Gibbs and the fatber figure, but we've never really met his Probie side or the one who had women...
I don't think that JAG had that much technology when they originally started... they were just going & asking the questions most of the times... This version could be similar to how JAG tv show pulled up information during their early years... __________________

It is very possible. As was seen in a few NCIS shows that focused on the "old way" of solving. It will be different to see them not able to go to the computer every time, to find a suspect or such...
It's going to be interesting to see a show based in the 90s, in 2024. And the way people look at things. And especially with a military type show. Of course JAG was the forbearer of it, so it's possible. But JAG focused on the legal system. The NCIS franchise focuses on solving the cases that lands in court. So I am very curious. __________________

Yeah it could be like JAG
 How did I not even think of that one while trying to remember shows from the 90s?   hmm it'll be interesting what their plans with that character are. We already know a bit of his romantic history from that time but doesn't mean there isn't more we don't know. So could be a bit done with them. __________________

Maybe because you have never actually seen more than a couple episodes from JAG?
  Right, JAG dealt with the cases once there was a case, and NCIS will need to figure it out... ... the timeline of course makes me wonder on whether there will be any JAG references, or not at all due to making sure that it doesn't get odd with the timelines...  In either way it will be a full circle kind of show with going back to the pre-JAG/JAG era... __________________

I thought of other shows I have never seen or only seen a handful of eps from
 It would be nice if they cross paths with JAG characters but may be harder as it is set in the past & the characters would look different - either too old to play the part now or recast so appearing different. They may avoid it because of that __________________

Their best option would be to combine JAG footage with the new material... as recasting may not work at all...
They will probably not show much of JAG at all, maybe just refer to them at times... __________________

It is meant to start later this year. I think it'll be a new Fall Show when the next seasons of NCIS & Hawai'i air. Maybe even the three shows on the one night?
Or if Sydney gets picked up & they're nice & air that maybe they can have NCIS/Origins one night, then Hawai'i/Sydney another? That could work nicely __________________

That would be a nice way of incorporating all shows...
... in terms of cast we will probably get a young Tom Morrow as well, as he was the director for many-many years, and probably the man who worked before Abby... ... I wonder whether the prequels will close the gaps, or leave some open.... I mean I still cannot believe younger Gibbs to be an IT specialist shile undercover... but it would be cool to see some of those riskier undercover missions playing out in full... __________________

wish list storylines to be explained? - mine includes the Parias-undercover saga od Jenny & Gibbs - understanding Gibbs' aversion to technology - does he really doesn't understand IT or simply plays dumb? __________________
