There's probably a few younger versions who'll come up. I'm pretty sure that those four roles are the only ones officially revealed so far.

At least for crime shows I don't think it has. Prequels are more a new thing though. I guess origin stories were more popular for superheroes in the past but now other characters are getting them

I am curious about this show. Because it will be very different from any other version in the franchise. Going back to the 90s, very different technology, when Gibbs is just starting out. In the wake of the loss of Shannon and Kelly.

This prequel has so much potential, partly because no one before dared to go back to the past a crime investigator...
... the couple episode where technology was not readily available were always enjoyable ones. __________________

It'll be a different take on crime solving too as it won't be so much relying on technology to solve things. Or a look back on how crime shows used to solve crimes.

Yeah that's what I was thinking
. But can't think of many from the 90s. Most I can think of were late 90s/early 2000s or probably had more technology than I imagine Origins would have.__________________
