My guess is both. On the one hand in the promo she's clearly shocked that a guy has actually expressed his "liking" of her, something the poor girl has probably never gotten to experience in her life before . On the other, Amy's no dummy, she knows that if she ever wants to get Sheldon to define where they really stand once and for all he has to be pushed over the edge. Actually, in a way I'm kind of proud of Amy for taking advantage of the whole Stu thing instead of just settling for a "kinda-sorta" relationship forever.

They've known and became friends for over a year now, it's not like they just met the other, we know Amy is into Sheldon, and Sheldon is into Amy, he just doesn't understand his feelings yet, jealousy is probably the only way for someone as stubborn and hard-headed as Sheldon to snap out of his denial about his special relationship with Amy.

ETA: Amy on a date reminds me of that interview Jim made some seasons ago where he said that if Sheldon ever liked a girl, she would have to hit him in the head and yell to him "You like me" ... well, Amy dating someone else, is definitely a hit in the head for Sheldon.

I agree, jealousy is the only way to do it because that forces him to think about his feelings.

Loved those spoilers, especially the ones for the mad cow disease and monkey dialogues - two of my favorites!
