I watched Friends, but only casually. Can someone explain the gif? Was that were they were seeing a naked guy or something?

It was Monica and Chandler going at it in the window of their apartment. If I remember correctly, this was the way Phoebe discovered they were a couple.

I also really love when Penny starts to understand the sci-fi jargon

I think one fan called it the "geekification of Penny" and I love every moment where they show the guys' influence on her
