Bit surprised this thread hasn't been brought up yet, so thought I might as well do it.

I won't say I have any very special feelings about this dynamic, as I just see them all as a group of 7 now (rather than 5 + 2)... However, I did notice the first couple of scenes yesterday had the 4 'geeky' guys plus Penny together. Could have come straight out of Season 1, 2 or 3.

I like when they remind us that all those elements of the show are still there, even though we might not see them quite so often and other dynamics have been added.

Yeah, I really liked that, too. I love the original five dynamic, and get a bit of nostalgia when we get scenes like this, but I do love how they come in small little doses like this, so it doesn't leave out Amy or Bernadette, really, it just gives us little tastes every now and then, like in the beginning of 7.09.
