So y'all know I'm into horse racing, a filly (girl horse) I've known since she was a baby just qualified for the Kentucky Oaks (Kentucky Derby for girl horses that is run the day before) and I've been walking on air all evening.

I had a lot of fun yesterday at a quidditch tournament! Dealing with a possibly sprained thumb today though.

Apparently there's only standby tickets for the last two tapings, according to AU website. I got one for the 23th around 7am.
I still want to try to get one for the finale, but it's going to be sooo difficult to get in.

I saw the standby tickets up this morning, they were there for quite a while. I thought about snagging one, but I really want to try for the finale. And since the website says you can go only twice per season, and I've been once with a regular ticket already, and they've been strict with me in the past... I didn't want to risk them canceling a finale ticket, if I somehow manage to get one, because it would then be my third ticket through them this year.

But yeah, getting a ticket for the finale is still the easy half of the equation, considering how slim the chances are they'll even have room for standbys.

Me too, I've already been to a taping this season. But I preferred to secured a ticket in case I can't get one for the finale, I'll go to only one of them.

So, an interesting thing happened in my university this week. Our school mascot, a cat named Archer, was given a graduation ceremony. He was getting too big and was having a lot of medical issues so the organization taking care of the campus' cats opted to have him adopted. They had a whole ceremony for him, he was also given an Alumni card.

I'm actually presenting mine tomorrow On top of already being really nervous about it, I have a stupid cold >.<

You’ll do fine. I actually don’t have advice for this because I was extremely nervous during our presentation as well. I did find, that practice and my familiarity with our thesis helped a lot.

I'm looking forward to WonderCon this weekend! I still need to go through the full panel schedule, but I know I've got Agents of SHIELD and Big Bang Theory, so even just two alone make it an awesome Saturday.
