TFTNT!

I saw the new How to Train Your Dragon today! Really liked it. And now I want to reserve the first two, but it doesn't look like my family has them. :(

TTFNT :)

Aaah, I haven't gotten to watch the new HTTYD yet! It looks really good so I'd like to check it out as well :look:

Oh another note, I'm currently internally debating whether or not I should ask for my summer job from last year back...They said that if I ever wanted to go back, I could just email but I'm still nervous >.<

TFTNT!

Jane, did you like this job?

If it's something you want to do, and since they already said you could come back, it's all about biting the bullet and "just doing it" but I definitely know how it feels to be anxious even when you know a good outcome is likely. I'd draft an email and then give yourself a few days or a week to look it over and perfect it.

I ended up buying the first two HTTYD movies and watched them both last night. I didn't realize how much I'd forgotten from them! But I was very happy with my personal double feature.

It was okay :look: A cushy clerk job where I mainly scanned documents all day long. It was pretty boring but it gave me a lot of free time, which I used to read and stuff  The pay was fine too, especially considering the nice, lax environment and the super simple duties.

Yeah, I just did that! :) I'm hoping to have the courage to send it out in a few days.

Well, I have a second interview!

It's a nannying job. The kids are sort of in between the two age groups I have experience with but I highly doubt I won't know what to do with them. The interview today was on the phone, the one later this week will be at their house so bless my father for agreeing to come with me and wait in the car (I try to bring someone if my first in person meeting with people isn't in a public place). My only concern is some of my experience was so long ago I don't have accurate contact info for the people I worked for, so I have to do some digging to track them down.

Best of luck with your interview (and reference tracking)! :fingers_crossed:

I hope you will get the job :D

Thanks! We shall see how it goes. I'm not very hopeful given my recent history of total failures to get hired. 😂

soundsgood 03-05-2019 08:30 PM

Best of luck Nicole!

and Jane too :D for this job or another one

WeBuiltThePyramids 03-06-2019 04:52 PM

Yes, best of luck to you, Jane!

I came down with the flu late Monday night. I haven't had the actual flu since I was a kid and I was completely unprepared for how much it knocks you out.

ennaxor 03-06-2019 10:24 PM

Good luck to both of you, Nicole and Jane!

And hope you feel better soon, Nicole! My cough's still off and on, but at least other than that I feel fine, for the most part.

My mom hasn't been able to shake her cough yet (I think she caught from me what I caught from you) but she's only had the cough a week or so.

soundsgood 03-07-2019 02:22 PM

Get well soon Nicole and Roxanne, not cool to have a cough for so long.
