Not really news, but Taylor was mentioned in the Hollywood Reporter profile done on Lena Dunham this week. Interestingly Taylor's look was what they were initially going for when casting Adam in 'Girls'. Adam Driver ended up getting it.

There was no way for Dunham to know that when a 27-year-old Adam Driver ambled into a Girls audition, she was about to help launch a future Star Wars villain and all-around movie star. She just knew Driver had something that the other actors did not. “The part in the script was described like Taylor Kitsch, kind of a golden-haired God,” she recalls. “And Adam is intensely striking and charismatic, but that’s not how you would describe him. He just gave the most astonishing, strange audition.” The character was meant to be a first-season love interest before Dunham’s character, Hannah Horvath, went out into the world. Instead, he became a beloved fixture spanning all six seasons. The two stars have not been good about keeping in touch. “Not for any sort of dark reason,” offers Dunham. “If I saw him, I’d be delighted.”

I love Adam Driver but he’s never reminded me of Taylor or given off the same vibe as him. Maybe they are sorta similar in looks but Taylor is much better looking than Adam IMO.

I can see how he might creep you out. Don’t really know how to explain it but to me you either like him or you don’t. I’ve never watched Girls but if they based the character off Taylor then I’m sure they would’ve been thrilled to have him for the role.

The only thing that makes me think he would consider is the connection he has to Chace and Romo, however, Taylor and Chace have a similar look. I don't know if they'd cast them both.

They're doing ANOTHER Yellowstone prequel called 1923, focusing on the Duttons during prohibition. It's only a matter of time before Taylor lands on one of these.
