Why does this movie cost so much on Amazon? It's like $40. Is it worth it to spend that much?

You should check out the free podcast for 'One Week' maybe this will help you to make your mind up. I think it's totally worth it but it's only 15€ here.

I got mine from Amazon.ca. Right now the price is 8.99 and with shipping it is only 19.77. But that's with standard shipping.

Oh, speaking of the photo that merica posted with sick Ben, I listened to the commentary and those scenes were supposed to be the end of the film. A little neat trivia, Josh was a little leery about singing the song in the campfire scene. He was afraid he wouldn't sound good but Mike mcgowan and others listened and they felt it wasn't that bad. Another funny thing Mike mentioned in the commentary that Josh almost knocked himself out when he fainted.

I acn't wait to hold my DVD. I already pre-ordered it but its out in Germany on May 6th. But well worth the wait.

So my DVD arrived here about three weeks ago and I still haven't managed to watch it. I thought I'd start with the Extras but there are none. Bummer.

I just love Josh's performance in this movie, it's such a bitter-sweet story. I find it amazing how Josh doesn't have a lot of dialouge yet he manages to express every emotion with just a look. I wish more people in the world got to see this movie, it's a beautiful one.

The DVD descriptor doesn't say anything about extras, but if you read the reviews you'll see that some mention that the special features include a "making of", interviews, a trailer, and "after party". There is a mention of commentary, but I can't confirm if it's the director/star audio commentary of the whole film, or just "commentary" from interviews.

I have to say, I can't think of a single Josh Jackson film in which Josh participates in the audio commentary.

Thanks. It's a real shame Josh never does any of the commentaries, I'm sure he'd share some interesting and funny stories. I wish more of the cast joined Paul Stupin for the DC DVD's aswell, they offer memories from a different perspective.
