I enjoyed the article but I think that it was said before that Josh's contract was for 3 seasons and he stayed on for the storyline but was not under any obligation. As to Ruth leaving, that may be a very different story. It's a shame it is getting bad reviews but I agree with the writer in that without Ruth it is a whole new show and probably not a very good one. I always thought that Ruth and Josh worked so well together that the show is lost without their on screen chemistry.

And I feel the real love story was all about Cole and Alison and not Alison and Noah. For me the Solloway's were the side story.

That just proves the chemistry between Ruth and Josh and lack of it between Dominic and Ruth. Dominic (as Noah) always reminded me of a favourite uncle who would be happier playing with the kids than having sexual encounters with 'other' women. The 'love' affair just didn't work and as for soul mates, just no!
