Navid and Adrianna were friends since grade school but it vanished when Adrianna became friends with the popular kids in 7th grade. Both went separate ways until Adrianna's drug a d d i c t i o n became public and she was put into rehab. Navid visited her in rehab and both started to get close. At homecoming, Adrianna found out that Navid put her in rehab because he wanted her to become the girl she was before and confessed that he had feelings for her that started back when they were kids. Navid and Adrianna are now officially a couple with the hopes of something more.  Adrianna: I didn’t think you liked me. Navid: I do.  AL, you're officially smarter than the writers.  Both the retrospective and finale were Navade packed. A dream come true.  __________________

Another great moment I forgot was Navade being in the ambulance and Ade saying "we always will" have each other. So true.

Thanks for the new thread.
Navid/Adrianna were always a core of the show so I am glad they ended up together. I loved all the talk of second chances and doing it right ETC because they did have a rough road. I think them getting back together felt really naturally and realistic and I really enjoyed them in the last few episodes. Ive always loved both of their characters and I am glad they got out safe and got happiness. Some of their scenes were a TAD cheesey for my taste but I dont even care because it was the last episode so might as well go all out. jlo/michael are damn adorable together too and i loved seeing them together in the behind the scenes stuff. |

I saw AL's alternate ending. So corny but she is a total fangirl and wanted Maxomi to end up together. Can't fault her for that!!!! ;-)
I wish we had gotten more (a two hour finale to tie everything together) but I am satisfied with what we got. Confirmation that Navade were always it for one another -- no matter how much confusion, how many times they hurt each other, how many times they had to lose each other only to find one another again. This ship would ALWAYS be endgame for each other. All I wanted (as with most if my OTP's) was confirmation and I feel that's what we got. I would have loved a fast forward -- preferably to Navade's wedding (because you know that's what would happen!!!) but I would have settled for Lannie's wedding. Because those two ships are solidified but I would have also loved something more solidifying for Sixon, as the way they ended things with this core couple left me feeling unsatisfied. And Maxomi could have reunited in the end. I would have also loved some answers to characters we saw along the way too. I am all about the core relationships, but I like resolutions for secondary characters too. I was overall elated with Navade/Lannie but...I was left feeling sad for a lot of other characters. |

Yeah, it was a great episode, but it would've been nice to see secondary characters like Debbie, Jen, Ivy, Max, Teddy, etc. I'm pretty sure the time jump would've complicated a lot so that made me nervous but the last five minutes definitely didn't satisfy all my longings.
But how great is it to know that Navid and Adrianna came "full circle" (and amazing that Navid was the one who said it) and that the writers figured out that yes, we're still attached to them no matter what happened the past two years. Oddly enough, the retrospective kept sticking for me during the "Naomi in the mud" segment, but after that it was fine. __________________
