True, but she seems to be too fuzzy and sweet to be such a grim spirit.

I was sort of thinking what if the Mother is "Nora" it would make sense, we don't know that much about her, she fits the Profile for how the kids look,and I have a theory on whoever the "mother" is would be friends with Robin and Ted would meet her at Barney and Robin's wedding,Nora is one of Robin's friends so that would fit that theory

*Smirks* I tend to be right when it comes to the shows I watch (I was even kind of right about the ending of LOST but I digress) but seeing as no one knows who the Mother is at this point I'd laugh if I was right about that.

Ok so I don't usually post on this board but I am a huge fan of this show and was reading some of your theories on the mother. What if this wedding that Ted is the best man in isn't for Punchy like some think, what if it is actually a remarriage for zoey and the captain? If the mother turns out to be Hannah wouldn't she be at her fathers wedding or if it is Nora barney might be bringing her as a date.
