I think I may or may not be too far out of the loop on seeing HIMYM to understand this thread

Oh well, I do know I will be checking it to see if it's on Instant for Netflix!

Sadly it's not, so I've put it in the Queue, put some of my mum's back at the top. I think for when I get a job I'm going to have my own account so I can get everything I want. I'm surprised they don't have it on instant like The Office is. I also want to be able to have my own account so I can see all of the GLBT genre I want. I know she won't want that in her account, but I want it on mine.

Heh, if it turned out it was Zoey and the captain getting remarried that would amuse me since everyone got up in arms about the divorce, but I really don't see the captain asking Ted to be his best man.

Mandie, don't bother looking on netflix, they only have HIMYM on dvd option at this point.

Hmm. Interesting theory. So far Ted doesn't know her so it works. We'll have to see how this Barney/Nora thing plays out.

Yeah, so far it could work seeing as Ted doesn't know Nora but if Barney and Nora get serious then clearly this theory wouldn't work *shrugs* we'll see how things turn out in the future.

Well so far that theory can stay in play.

Last night's ep definately confirmed they will be no tweaking of the storyline to make Zoey the mother so that's good and something tells me that if things ended that badly with Zoey then I doubt her former stepdaughter is the mother either since that was another theory out there.

This part kind of drive me crazy because since he said that he met her at his best friend's wedding which that would be Marshall's wedding, right?? So it wasn't her since she wasn't in the wedding, but was the girl that go to school where he teach, but they never show her exactly.. But it was pretty interesting to see who it was..

I've always wondered if it was actually Cindy and her girlfriends wedding, just because there story was told in the same episode and Cindy did thank Ted for making her realize he wasn't the type of person she was looking for, so I could see her asking him to be the best man and we know her roommate is the mother.

Everyone over looks that one because it's a gay marriage but he did make it clear they go on to be someone's mother so them having a cermony or something isn't too odd.

well yes in Theory Marshall is Ted's Best friend but it's also been mentioned a few times (Mostly by the man himself) that Barney is his Best Friend as well, I think that is one of the reasons that so many of us think that it might be Barney and Robin's wedding, also Robin can be considered one of his Best Friends and there is a theory out there by some that He is Robin's "Best Man" either way the theory of Nora being the Mother could be plausible if it did turn out to be Barney and Robin's wedding.

I like the Nora theories but I have one huge, huge issue with it.

Going back to S3, Ted dumped Barney on his ass for being with one of his exs, so if Ted ends up being with one of Barney's that just seems wrong to the way Ted believes... although he did totally steal Zoey from the captain so who knows.

The Goat. Ted flipped when he found out Barney had been with Robin, they didn't makeup til the season's finale after Barney got hit by the bus.
