I love the scene where Freddie bath Effie. But some people (younger girls mostly) are like: relationship goal. Whoa, what ? Being not able to take care of yourself and have a shower? Effy was like in a vegetative state in that scene...
Maybe they like the fact that Freddie is able to take care of Effy in a non-sexual way (unlike a lot of young guys unfortunately )?
