Well I think the roles should be reversed of Maxon/Aspen based on looks, but other than that, I'm pleased with casting.

who does William Moseley play in the show?
-Pammie Eta - I just went to look it up and it shows under several of the actors imdb screens that the selection is a tv movie, error? Also its not in quotes like most titles of tv shows are, do they know something we don't? __________________

I think they just label it that when it's just a pilot and not officially picked up for series.
William plays Aspen who is America's secret boyfriend that lives not far from her. In the book he urges her to put her name into The Selection so that she has a fighting chance to better herself and feed her family. In the tv series it plays out differently. __________________

I'm on chapter 2 or 3 now, so I know the back story for the book for the character so far. It seems like they reversed phyiscal descripitions of the guys, being Aspen looks more like the guy they have as Maxon (who I remember from 10 things I hate about you on abcfamily.) but depending on Maxon's personality and how much they change the characters for the pilot, I think the actors can very much pull off the characters.

I just got to chapter 9, the end of chapter 8 was America greeting the fans at the airport. I loved the little girl with the 'redheads rule!' sign. that was so cute.

That was cute. I suppose America was an early front runner for the crown based on her caste number. She was one of three fives in the competition.
