Well obviously it will be geared towards the YA crowd, but hopefully they can ad more mature content to broaden the show's fanbase. In the pilot script alone they did a few "adult" things that were different from the book, but I thought it changed it up quiet nicely.

I didn't like how the pilot script spoiled some good twists in the book though, but I suppose by the time the pilot airs, most people will have read the book.

Yeah. I guess that's why they did it And maybe they wanted it to be as powerful as possible.

Just what happens to Aspen. I liked that twist and the pilot sort of spoils it really quickly as oposed to when it happens in the book.

A pilot for the series has been shot and we'll know in about a week if The CW is going to pick it up to go onto a weekly television series.

The book series is going to be a trilogy I believe(what isn't these days?).

Ah thanks! I'm hearing rumors that The Selection is definatly on The CW's schedule for next season.

I agree. I think this should be a lock, but I am really worried for TSC and don't want it to get cancelled
