this ep was awesome...it was first time when i liked Sylar lol... it was cool to see him teaming up with Noah...i´m curious what Clare´s gonna do...i´m just sorry that we didn´t get some Elle scenes...hope she´s alright...then i wonder what´s up with mohinder

I finally watched the end of the ep; that scene with Meredith and Claire was awful! And she said she was trying to help her. No wonder she drove off on her own when neither mother understood what she was going through.

i agree...i thought that her own mum could understand her...i don´t get it why she just annoyed her instead some good advices from her own life or experiences with her power...it´d be so much more useful...what was the lesson when she couldn´t defend from her mom...Claire told her that she doesnt wanna be just victim and wanted to help use her power,not to show that she´s just victim and can get hurt,which i think Claire knew

Yeah, it just seemed really pointless. It kinda strikes me that if Meredith actually cared about Claire, she wouldn't make her relive those horrible moments she had with Sylar.

exactly...i though why she just reminds Claire probably the worst momend of her life when she met Sylar...how you said it was pointless...

Perhaps she wanted Claire to look back on that moment and truly understand her real motivations... or more to the point, admit to herself what her real motivations are.

Sometimes, you have to look back on something, even a horrible moment in your life, more than once to really understand it and yourself.

I think it goes back to something I heard a long time ago... doing the right thing for the wrong reasons is still wrong. If she goes off being a hero for the wrong reasons, she might end up doing more harm than good. By being able to admit to others, and more importantly herself, her real motivations, she has taken a step in the right direction in helping herself.

Because was right about one thing... you have to save yourself before you can save others.

But Claire still went off anyway It didn't help her 'stay at home' like Meredith thought it would, it just added to a list of experiences that would stick with Claire for a long time. It's kind of alluding to helping her turn into someone like her Future!Self.

I mean, I know Meredith probably thought she was helping, and I agree with what you were saying about her motivations, but it didn't change Claire's mind. I think it did more harm than good IMO.
