This episode!
My poor Matt! Coached benched him! I can't believe it! Jason! he got the house, but she left! it was just soo sad and it has to work out for him in the end though. Jason, Herc, Tim, Billy! FAB 4 SOOO amazing! Tim retelling Buddy's speech about people who act on things are like "chamipins" or something like that and getting everyone to go into the house thing was soo hilarious! and Landry was listening to Skid Row's "I Will Remember You!" Amazing episode, but such a heartbreaker! Last edited by ILoveOTH23; 02-15-2009 at 07:39 PM |

I enjoyed this episode a lot
I just have to say Poor Matt. I completely understand where he's coming from because I've had something like that happen to me. One year you're good and you're at the top of your game. You lead the team to victory. Next year you get replaced. AHHH. It's disheartening and plain sad. My situation was slightly different but I related to Matt a lot. So I understood where he was coming from but I didn't necessarily agree with his attitude. 5 out of 5 stars __________________

Watching s3 now and the shift from s2 really wasn´t easy.
I´m still not feeling the Tami principal storyline The whole JD stuff I don´t wanna care for him and I don´t atm and am afraid I won´tl Why did Smash have to leave I really loved Tyra´s storyline always but this 180° turn makes no sense IMO.It´s repetitive and also it´s too much focus. Julie trying to whatever get back with Matt? Where does that come from all of a sudden? Best thing this ep really was Jason and the boys. Gave me s1/s2 vibes. But it´s hard to care for the baby storyline now that we didn´t see most part of it... I´m curious to see how this all develops but so far, s1 and 2 felt different... |

That final scene with Smash running into the end zone and turning around with his Smash smile lighting up the screen and him yelling "Where you at, baby? Where you at?" knowing only part of what he had gone through to get to that place, Tyra is interesting because I see it as her insecurity and all those doubts and people telling her she was nothing but the town's white trash **** rearing up. Tami being principal meant she couldn't be quite as hands on with Tyra as she had in the past, and I think Tyra resented that and felt a bit abandoned. The Tami being named principal storyline is kind of strange if you stop and think about it or over think it. Realistically there's no way she could go from being a counselor to being principal, unless you look at it from this angle; the boosters and Buddy schemed for her to get the job because she was Mrs. Coach and thus thought that she'd always take the football team's side of things in issues. Of course she proved them spectacularly wrong about that with the Jumbotron fiasco. Many fans look at season 3 as being a more or less complete reset for the show. |
