New York, New York (3.08) Episode Discussion
New York, New York 11-19-08 9/8c Episode Description Tim is worried when Jason talks about leaving Dillon. Money troubles cause a riff between Tami and Eric. Tyra leans on Cash when things get tough, while Julie talks to her dad about Matt's idea. Lets's remember a few things please: *No spoilers in this thread, only speculation (until the episode airs). *Not everyone may agree with you, and that's okay. *Respect others opinions. And have fun! |

Im exciting to see what Matt's idea is that Julie wants to talk to her dad about. Im also excited to see the E/T angst!
Im the most excited to see Jason leave, although I empathize with his fans who are crushed right now |

I'm confused: the surprise Matt had planned for Julie, which was in the episode description of last week's ep didn't happen...?

Yeah these episode descriptions haven't been very reliable lately.

I know, I forgot it was the last episode for Street until I read the Ausiello spoilers. I'm not a huge fan of Street, but it still sucks losing a main character.

As I watched, so pardon any incoherent thoughts.
Why does Tami want that big ass house? Why is Jason being a dumbass and thinking he can just get a job in NYC? Related, why is Riggins so willing to go on this trip and you know MISS PRACTICE!) I like that Matt's looking at the game now. (also, WHY LOUIS XIV?) MAC!!!! 6 and 33 in NYC look like fish out of water. GO BACK TO TEXAS BOYS!! (Also, perfect opportunity for Riggins meeting Serena or Blair?) RIGGO GO RUN WILD IN MANHATTAN! THIS WAS GOING TO END BADLY, 6, DIDN'T YOU REALIZE THAT? Boys, go party it up! Please, get the hell out of Times Square and move into someplace else! Conversely, Rigs talking about Gypsy and saying id might be the funniest stuff evah! Julie and Matt, why aren't you making out after that stuff the other week? You're A COUPLE, ACT LIKE IT PLZKTHXBAI! I could care less about Cash and Tyra, so can we move on from this storyline. I also hope to all that is good and holy that she doesn't muck up this interview because of that call. Tami, DO NOT crush Tyra's dreams, either. Eric and Tami talking about this house is sad. Not in the sense that I want to cry, but in the sense that I can't see them having this fight. Where the heck did they get to look this green in Jersey? Whatever college that is, I sort of want to go there. 6 talking about the biz breaks my heart, though. Especially when he gets into the meeting with Wendall. I want to punch Eric in the face for that last pass. But, the part of me loves that Julie for being her annoying self to Matt's benefit. Tyra--you give up on college and I will kick your ass. WTH, hon? DO NOT FOLLOW CASH!!! Tami--why must you always amaze me with that conversation about the house in the middle of the night? Also, kudos to the show for putting that scene in (and writing it in the first place.) Eric being rational, in the house, wins big points, though. Boys--really, a taxi into Jersey? How DUMB are you??? Riggo, do not be a pussy with 6 going into this place. (Also, Sun Kill Moon? playing...someone tell me later.) DO NOT MAKE ME CRY FOR YOU, STREET! DO NOT MAKE ME CRY! (Thank you baby momma for being sensible and saying that she wants this, too.) __________________

Sounds like an interesting episode. And a sad one seeing Jason go.
Thanks for the rundown Roz. __________________

I enjoyed the scene where Eric was throwing passes to Matt. Good scene, good scene. Cash needs to get the hell off my TV screen or Imunna break the screen. Riggins once again made me cry. I was crying like a fat baby. I loved that he was happy for Jason instead of being mad at him like all those typical TV shows, and at the end when he was going to cry, man that killed me. and Hi I love Buddy Garrity. He was barely in this episode, but no matter what he does I love him. Him and his stupid ole boosters. Gotta love it. Oh yes, Gracie is still alive. We got to see her profile for a few minutes, and Tami spoke about her. So there's proof. __________________
