While in "Red Sky", the boys were so up-front about their disgust and contempt for Bela, that I could handle her presence better. In this ep, it seemed more like they were using Bela to play for laughs (like with the whole dream thing with Sam and Sam's response) and that bugged me greatly. People are put in risk because of her thefts, and she hasn't shown the slightest sign of caring. She's a dangerous character, not comic relief. It annoys me (and I think does a disservice to all the characters involved ).

Actually I found the whole Sam/Bela dream thing kinda cute and funny!
I didn't mind that it was played for laughs, because in this episode specifically, up until she stole the colt, Bela didn't do anything that put anyone in harm. And honestly I could see Sam having a smutty dream about her. I mean he is a guy, who I am guessing hasn't gotten layed in a while and Bela was hot and in his mind that moment... Again, to me it made sence. To each their own obviously |

The dream in and of itself wasn't what bothered me. Again, it was the comic relief aspect of it (and for me, it didn't matter that she hadn't put anyone in danger yet in this particular episode. It's all cumulative - every episode she'd been in, people were put in risk and/or killed because of her actions. I figured something would happen in this one, and even if not, she'd done enough stuff before to put her in the "dangerous" category).
But I know that I'm pretty much in the minority around here concerning my reaction to Bela in this ep. (And usually I'm the one posting in defense of the show's choices and how I can understand them........ ) __________________

as Dean has said before "Sam feels guilty searching the internet for porn" a dream about Bela... of course he would be all self conscious and coy about it..

Yep, I'm definitely in the minority.
Anyway, thinking about stuff from the episode that doesn't upset me, I found Bobby's room to be interesting. This was the first hint we've gotten of what a Bobby-hunt was like, without the boys' involvement. Bobby is much neater and secretive about hiding away his research. He seems to stay in slightly nicer places, too (maybe because he has some source of steady income and doesn't go on the road as much as the boys?). __________________

The place might have been slighty nicer (or at least nice enough for even Bela to consider staying there, and I do assume her standarts are way higher than the boys or Bobby's - though she probably also wanted to keep a close eye to the colt), however the room was hideous!
But totaly with ya! It was definitelly interesting to see Bobby out on hunt and how he is during it, all organized and neat. Just so Bobby! And I also agree with your reasoning on why he can probably afford a nicer place. It's what I assumed anyway while I was watching. I really like that aspect of Bobby having a permanent home and a real morning-side job (and how nice was is to see him at work in 3.15, huh?). It adds so much to the character. |

Bobby's just an awesome character.
And I find it interesting to see the similarities between different hunters' approaches to things (like the research spread out on the wall for easy viewing) mixed in with the differences (how Bobby keeps his hidden away - which is probably a good thing if he's staying someplace where room service is likely to pop in). __________________

Well having room service pop in I would assume is an option.
Sam mentioned in Tall Tales that they don't let room service in the room. I could see Bobby being more tidy than the boys. After all he has a house, the guys don't. Those motel rooms serve for "home." Letting room service clean would kinda, sorta also be like a stranger invading their privacy, not only endagering their cover. Bobby actually possibly viewing a motel room as such, as something temporary doen't mind it getting cleaned, and knows exactly how to cover his tracks. The boys had a hard time finding out where the research stuff was and they were looking for it. I really don't think I maid would bother as to open the closet and look behind the customer's stuff... |

No, which I'm sure is why Bobby put it there.
It's always strange to see Bobby without a hat. Just always throws me for a second when that happens. __________________

Folie true, and Bobby is so much tidier than the boys and he probably views motel cleaning services as that alone, and besides he keeps the research stuff well-hidden __________________

Loved the moment when Bobby thanks Dean for coming in to save him. They're both such gruff type guys, not really the sort to make big emotional speeches, but it's clear how much they care about each other. They really are family.
