I think it was going to happen at some point. There were only so many times she was going to grab his shirt and pull him close like that before he reacted...like by pulling her closer and planting one on her.

I think that would be a pretty big moment for Lucas & I would have loved to see it - finding out he had a chance with Maya was the scariest moment of his life, plus he could have kissed her in Texas but didn't at the last second, so I think that it would be amazing to see him initiate the first kiss

Neither one of them were ready for that moment. I wish we could have gotten to that point.

I can imagine him initiating the first kiss too. In every first kiss scene that I imagine, he's always the one who makes the first move.

^ Knowing the rules of triangles and how TPTB love teasing both sides before ultimately making a choice at the end of a series, a kiss was going to happen at some point. I think, if TPTB had known that season three would be the final season, they would have given us more Lucas/Maya moments.

I love how at ease they both look there.

It was such a great scene, I loved how Maya could make Lucas laugh
