^ I think it did too. Alan and Amy probably panicked a little bit when Eric came on the scene, especially if they had him so soon after getting married, but I think by the time Cory and then Morgan came along, they had a better grip of things.

Yeah, I think they were pretty settled at that point

^ I think so too. That's how I imagine their first few years of marriage and parenthood.
So Amy called Cory an idiot in her head. I wonder what Alan thought in that moment. __________________

^ Yeah, he probably did. =p Do you think they were surprised by the request that Cory made in that moment/episode? That's the vibe I get from Alan in that moment, that he knew that Cory would get hit with the cold, hard reality that married life is hard and that he would ask them to bail him out of that situation.

I think they were surprised at how naive Cory was being & how he was trying to take this shortcut. I think that they both knew Cory & Topanga could handle the real world - they just needed to face up to it first.

^ I agree. I don't think they would have been so supportive of Cory and Topanga getting married if they weren't 100 percent sure they could handle it.

^ I saw that too. It was clear how much of a struggle it was for Alan and Amy to let Cory and Topanga find their own way as newlyweds. They wanted to help them, but they knew that it was important for them to get on their own two feet and to figure it out on their own.

^ I think so too. They got the chance to strengthen their bond after they first married and they struggled to find their footing. They just wanted Cory and Topanga to have that chance as well.
at the last gif. It always makes me laugh when I watch that scene or I see it in gif form. __________________

^ She did. She knew the situation that they were in and she made sure he knew it too.
