^ I think so too. It was really clear from the very beginning that their relationship was solid. Nothing and nobody was going to tear them apart. I did like that we would get the occasional 'test' to their relationship. It showed that TPTB had created a truly realistic relationship. =)

It did, & they loved each other very much, but were never too mushy, which definitely made them feel realistic to me

^ They did. I adored them so much! I love that their relationship was still young and fresh, even though they had been married for so many years and they had three (then four) children.

I hadn't really thought about it, but that's true - I think it shows how important it is that your partner is someone you can have fun with, that's a big part of what kept it fresh with these two imo

They were like that a lot of time, always having these playful little moments where they knew any conflict between them wasn't actually serious

^ Oh, yes. From what I remember, they never really had big disagreements that lasted long. Their disagreements or fights were always resolved by the end of the episodes. I love that! It was great to see how strong their bond was.
