'A lot' and 'often' are great answers! I think they have stayed connected to Cory, Topanga and their kids. I can imagine weekly phone calls, drop-ins for birthdays, holidays and other special occasions, and Skype/e-mail being the best way for them to stay connected.

Yeah, even if they can't see them in person all the time, I bet they stayed in contact so much that it didn't feel like they were that far away

The brief glimpse we got of them in their new roles wasn't enough for me. I wanted to see more of them.

^ I did see that. And even though it was only a brief glimpse of the grandchild(ren)/grandparents dynamic, it was clear that the kids loved Alan and Amy too.

^ I definitely saw that in those scenes. Clearly Grandma and Grandpa Matthews take every opportunity to stay close to their grandkids.

They do, maybe they helped out a lot when Riley & Auggie were younger, because I bet that was a hard time for Cory & Topanga...

^ Oh, yes. Alan and Amy definitely seem like the kind of people who would lend a hand or give parenting tips/advice if their kids need it. I mean, they were very hands-on parents, so of course they would be hands-on grandparents as well.

^ I can imagine that. Parents love becoming grandparents. I think Alan and Amy wanted to help out Cory and Topanga as much as they could. I wouldn't be surprised if they moved in with them to guide them through those first few weeks of parents.
