I didn't like Finn for Season Two Meredith (preferred Meredith with Alex then) but I was definitely hoping for Finn's return this past season. Before I got invested in Nathan/Meredith, I was kind of in love with the idea of Finn/Meredith post-Derek.

In my head, his comeback would include a child he had with a wife who had died in labor.

I have not forgotten Finn. And it would be really cool if he would come back to the Grey Sloan. Perhaps as a patient or something. I wonder how Nathan would react.

I hope they don't. The show is pretty successful and there's enough money in the budget to make a bargain with the actor to have him return. I really liked Finn and I miss him so much.

People won't remember who he is if they recast him. Half the people wouldn't remember him from 11 seasons ago even if it's the same actor

I hope so that they ask Chris O'Donnell. I would appreciate to see him as Finn again. Especially as Meredith would handle it.

I mean as a few guest appearances 2 - 4 episodes would not hurt.

My memory is absolute rubbish, but I remember Finn. Not the actor who played him, though.

and tbh, that final info was kind of irrelevant to actually memorize.
