The staff tend to Meredith and her trauma. Meanwhile, Callie and Maggie perform an experimental surgery on Alex's teenage patient, despite Alex's objections; Owen continues to clash with Nathan; and things progress with Maggie and Andrew's relationship.

This is the only episode we Jolex fans have some hope for because the lack of spoilers and mentions of them in the press releases for the upcoming episodes don't look very promising for us. Which at this point I don't understand anymore because they haven't had a proper storyline since 10B and Shonda did say that she wanted to tell some storylines with them this season. Guess she lied again.

All I hope is that they don't reunite them and shove them into the background again. I just want something meaningful for once and I want to see Alex fight for his relationship. The episode title could refer to them, but it could be for anyone else too. So in case they get back together and Alex didn't even try hard, I hope people will know that this is not what Jolex fans wanted.

Having no real storyline that lasts longer than one episode isn't really satisfying at all. At least I hope to see some Jo kicking ass with Callie in Ortho.

I'm also curious to see how Alex, Callie, Maggie and Bailey will react to Meredith throwing them out. If they will give her the space she asked for or if they will hover more.

Pretty good episode. I loved that Alex finally had a case, and that it wasn't about doing a "miracle" like they always do lately on this show, but about being a good doctor in another way. I hope he starts being a better boyfriend though.
I'm glad Owen & Amelia are at least talking again.
And I didn't even remember Callie & Penny breaking up

I want to like Maggie and Deluca but honestly all we ever really see of them is making out?

I like that this episode was focused on Alex. I liked the mer/alex mentions. I think Alex/Jo should just break up because they clearly arent on the same page and never have been.

Callie/Penny breaking up off screen was WTF. Like, did they even explain that? So strange. I know there was a 6 week time jump but still.

I think people are giving Meredith too hard of a time. This season its very clear that she is just mourning Derek and not feeling happy in her life anymore, and I think that's expected/understandable after losing Derek.

I thought it was a decent episode.

so it really was offscreen? I didn't remember seeing it but since there was a hiatus in the middle I thought I may have forgotten about it. But since you're watching it without breaks I guess they really did skip it. They skipped so many stuff this season.

they did it was super random. Like they just ran into each other in the hall and were all awkward. I felt like I'd missed something but I read the comments so I knew I hadnt. lol

I really liked the eep , but as I said we weren't shown much of Callie and Penny depth.
