He was good, lol. Hire him and you’re going home.
I’ll always defend the work of defense attorneys, if not always the practice (like the Parkland shooter’s lawyer flipping off the camera and giggling with him). __________________

Even past the indecency of cracking jokes and being crude in the middle of a trial about 17 murder victims, I'm a little creeped out his lawyer CAN just joke around with him like they're buddies. By all means, be professional. It wouldn't be a good look to be overt in disliking your client. But giggling with him? Flipping off the camera? ...You know he's a mass murderer, right? Don't you want to like...crawl out of your skin? The thought of being in the same room with him would make me try to nope myself to a different galaxy.

I'll never forget the look on Robert Kardashian's face when OJ was found not guilty. That is the face of a man who knows full well his client is guilty and is haunted by it. I felt bad for him tbh. He did his job, and that job is important, but he knew the truth at some point - I don't think he always did, I think he was naive until he couldn't be anymore.

He looked like he was going to vomit all over the table. It was so striking.

I'm sorry he died, honestly. I think it really negatively impacted his children. Robert Kardashian had a moral compass.

I feel like he would be very unhappy with the whole Kardashian dynasty thing.

It has to be tough for some high profile lawyers who 100% know their client is guilty. I mean, the lawyers did their jobs according to the law, I'm not criticizing them, but for some of them, I don't think that's easy. And OJ would later get violent again.
