How does the book end?

The entire confrontation is different. The husband isn't beating the wife at the event, and all the husbands are there too - Bonnie just figures out that he's an abuser and shoves him, and he goes over the rails. She confesses and gets probation or something. There's no big secret (although I'm skeptical of why there needed to be show-wise - he was beating the hell out of her, it was clear self-defense).

No one would press charges at her SHOVING him when he was beating the crap out of his wife, and three other women were having trouble keeping him at bay.

Also, Alex S is huge, lol. Which effectively made him incredibly intimidating, but also, it's believable he would be terrifying and difficult to stop.

Like, I knew how it was going to end, and still, when he revealed he knew she was leaving him, I was completely terrified.
