BEN BANKS the movie Principal Photography has been completed and we've been editing for a couple weeks now!! The scenes are really coming together and it's super fun to see it in this state! We are rushing to make the Sundance Late Submission deadline which is rapidly approaching!!

SCREENING

Had the first audience screening of the movie tonight. We just finished editing at 8AM this morning so it was the first time Junior and I actually watched it all the way through. It’s amazing how much you learn watching the movie with others… got some amazing feedback. Overall positive, people enthusiastic, some good critiques. Got some work to do before we submit to Sundance Friday but I feel really good about where we’re at. For a super rough cut the movie is in good shape. That’s Junior’s talent at work there…

Yeah, sad it didn't get in.

I was really counting on Sundance to fast track the release. But thems the breaks with indies as always.

At least we consistently hear about this project from people involved. I could use a legit update about Don't Fade Away, lol.

The team behind this movie seem really connected to the project so I'm hoping that their passion/love/drive for it will push the movie to find the right distributor.

Unlike DFA which got caught up in so much business crap

Again, I'm really glad these people seem so committed to the film- hopefully it means we won't wait as long as we did for DFA to see it, lol.
