I always said that Tightrope had an underlying message that I wasn't connecting to. I think I finally figured it out.



In The Spotlight

It’s hard to find peace

That poem is actually about someone else, but it would apply to anyone who is in the spotlight. Having to compete with the image everyone sees compared to whom they truly are can't be easy. That is what separates Kelly from others...with her what you see is what you get. She doesn't put on a facade...she is who she is and makes no apologies for it and that is how it should be,

Hell’s Release


She hid her emotions
And she hid them well
Anytime she had let them show
She had always caught hell
She longed for the day
Hell didn’t show its face
She had spent her life
Fighting against hell’s pace
She only wanted to find
An inner peace
The day she felt the grip
Of hell finally release
Life isn’t easy
Nor is it meant to be
But it isn’t total hell
It is also the peace she would see

She scared you away
That she knows
She was only trying to let
Her interest in you show
She wants you to know
How much she truly cares
With you her life
