Because of her stupidity

She was speeding

Nothing else
Seemed to matter
All of a sudden she hit the brakes
And she hit them hard
And in the process
She broke an innocent heart
Too much, too fast
Too quick, too soon
Now she wishes
She could give you the moon
Her dream ended
When she pushed you away

Yes I do and that is the hard part about being an empath. You can get inspired at all times and then there are times when you don't know who has cause what you're writing about or why. Then and Kelly to the mix and the songs she sings and my world is a kaleidoscope.

Finally
The broken toy found the one
Who wanted to love
All of the parts
That were scarred
Fractured
Didn’t fit together right
The toy had at last
Found the love
That could help mend
The shattered parts
Replace what was lost
And did it without making demands
For perfection
An innocent heart
Saw the beauty
Within the broken toy
The innocent heart only wanted the love

There are times

Your job is important

Now she isn’t sure
Just what to do

Thanks. Sorry I have been absent as far as posting goes. Been here a few times to read, but with all of the canning and then the fall the other day that left me with a bruised skull I've been a little MIA.

Thanks. It rained non stop for 2 - 3 weeks and the street was wet. I slipped on a broken piece of pavement that had been covered by tin. I still have some troubles, but I'm okay. I refuse to let it stop me.

Burning Toy

The innocent heart
Wanted to fix the broken toy
With love and patience it happened
And once again there was joy
Demons from the past
Kept showing their dark side
Telling the toy
The innocent heat had something to hide
The toy didn’t want to believe
It could be true
