wow
 What an amazing & special milestone  I read this thread this morning & at that point I wasn't sure as they're still figuring things out. They still are working out what to do but I found out today that the plan is for me to be in the 2-5 years room, mainly with the 2-4 year olds. At least right now there's only a small amount of 4-5 year olds so the early childhood teacher will be with them but we'll need to support her with any challenging behaviour & because you can't really leave an educator alone necessarily. We'll all be in the one room (as there's only two rooms at the centre) but we might divide the room in half so it becomes more like two. We're just not sure what will work best yet. __________________

we went back into lockdown last night as well... no more then 2 people at home and all the shops closed as well..

I can imagine that it's hard for politics
well the numbers in the hospital are decreasing again, which is good but they are afraid of the Omnicron variant to spread a lot since they do see that the numbers of infections with Omnicron are dubbling every 2 days... so they are trying to prevent that from happening given what happens in other countries with that... __________________

 It is spreading here but if you look at hospitalizations, ect. things are looking good still... then with Christmas I think they're reluctant to do anything too__________________

understandable... they allow a max of 4 people coming over for christmas... though that were the 'old' lockdown advices... Though for my family we already spread the celebrations for my parents this weekend.. my parents don't want to risk anything by having too many people over so you can't keep a distance..
I hope next year things will be better covid wise __________________

for me it's just visiting my parents for a day-ish and then heading back home sunday morning so that i can watch football.
 i prefer lowkey/quiet holidays, so this suits me just fine! |

definitely enjoying low key as well.. in Holland we have 2 christmas days, yesterday spend some time with my famliy, on christmas eve with my boyfriend's mother and nephew...
due to covid we aren't 'allowed' to have entire families coming over today is just a low key hang out day! Tonight it's Home Alone 1 and 2 night __________________

I have to work on new years day so it's not going to be a long night for me.. It's gonna be game night for me and boyfriend... my boyfriend's mother is coming.. due to covid restrictions we can't really do much here... oh well my alarm clock goes off at 6 am as well so I'm not sure I had the energy for it either I love pancakes! Maple syrup is not really a thing in Holland but I do think it is in the USA/Canada? __________________
