Yeah I love making cards. Make them for birthdays, Christmas, mother's/father's day each year. The unfortunate thing for me is that my parents' birthdays are both in January so I end up making a lot of cards at the end of the year . Really should learn to spread them out more but never do
I also listened to Kelly's album some more while making them too . While I did like it the first time I am now appreciating it more now that I'm feeling more in the mood for Christmas

At least it was uneventful I suppose


I did a whole lot of weeding/pruning when I got home from work today. I kept forgetting/putting it off but the grass was getting quite high. Then since I don't know how I will be after my second vaccination shot on Saturday I figured now was probably the better time to get it done before it got even more out of control.

I must say in my mind I miss it though during the day when I'm busy I feel it's okay, especially in the morning when I have to go to work.. No more using the pumps before I go to work

glad you are enjoying it more.. I did the album when driving to work this past week... Definitely loving it more as I listen to it more

I feel depressed when I read news all the time and see how people respond to the news, saying vaccins don't work... because the numbers are rising.. People keep thinking you can't get it if you are vaccinated.. That's not the case, you hopefully don't get as sick... It's so tiring..
Though for some reason politics can't really think of good rules either... It must not be easy to think of non discussable guidelines either I suppose... I hope it goes away in 2022

Cold turkey is probably best but I have no idea. It sounds like a good idea to me as I feel like you'd just get into some habit of giving in or something. I don't know what I'm talking about though so that may just be my brain being strange

Yeah I agree. Better to not read things sometimes . I've seen some joking about the booster as if getting booster shots is something new. Flu shot anyone? That is a recommended yearly thing. Chances are covid will be too. That's just one of a few vaccines that we have more than once in our lives.
The thing is a vaccine isn't a cure & that's what people forget or don't understand. The vaccine is meant to make it so if you get covid it isn't going to affect you as much, & to make it so if you've got it you're less likely to be able to spread it than someone who's unvaccinated. It is why teachers/educators here have been made to be vaccinated - not to stop us from getting it, but to make it so we're less likely to spread it to the children in our care. Too many people get vaccinated then think they are immune & do stupid things .

It is odd though, daughter is staying with my parents for the night and boyfriend is away 1 night for work, so home alone well until my alarm clock goes tomorrow morning for work

Yeah

No idea. That's the other side of the country to me. Didn't see anything on my news about it last night & won't get to see tonight's news as I've got a staff meeting. But sharks existing in the ocean is just a given to me or just about everything in or around Australia can kill me . If it is making the news though must be unusual or quite a lot of sharks. Wonder why
Googling it looks like there was a dead whale that they were feeding off & that's what it was. This was the article I skimmed over

The news here is focussing more on local news atm. Around 7 years ago a little boy went missing & we had a break in the case (unfortunately looks like the foster parents either killed him or covered up his death). So that is the major story other than the covid updates.
We don't get a lot of news from the west coast though unless it is something major. Like there was a missing girl a few weeks ago so we heard about that & when she was found.

But I also miss parts of the news while making dinner sometimes. It is hard to fit in the news into one bullition as they need to cover world, national, state, & local in around 30-40 minutes. I think sport news has taken over some of the time used for other news too which gives them less time to cover everything
