anyone ever suddenly feel weird and question whether what they say or post on really matters or if people even care what you post? What a weird feeling from nowhere! Am I having an existential crisis about forum'ing this morning??

So glad today is Friday! Hopefully will be a good day at work despite me not being used to working with someone else constantly in the room with me!

Hubby's off on a canoe trip today. Most of the guys seem to think it's an excuse to get drunk, so hopefully things don't get too wild.

I get that spaced-out feeling sometimes and question things I normally wouldn't question. So I don't think it's that odd.

Lizzy, it's our country's Independence Day on Monday so a local national holiday.

Leanne, I hope you had a good end of the week work day.

Chris, I actually feel quite the opposite. We're technically ahead by hours and yet we're also late for everything.

Jenna, no plans. Which probably is a good thing cause it's been raining these past few days (though just light) so I kind of feel lazy to go out too. How's your week so far?

Dark Matter is back, Chris!

My aunt is taking my cousin and I out to eat tomorrow for lunch. My cousin is leaving Sunday to go back to Missouri, where she goes to college, for two summer undergraduate courses. First week of summer camp is over! And I've already lost some weight. It's been quite intense, more tiring than my regular teaching job and with less pay. And the kiddos are crazier because it is the summer and all they want to do is be wild and loud. I always enjoy being around kids though so having fun. It's just chaotic fun.

Sounds like you are having fun, Cece? (I hope to lose weight in the summer, but I'm suspecting I'm gonna get bored and then resort to snacking, )

I had dinner with my grandma, her BF, parents and my brother tonight, then my mom brought out this cake from Italy that has been sitting unrefrigerated on the table for months, obviously with preservatives to make it last without being frozen. We were wary so my brother took a photo and sent it to our family chat saying "we are about to eat the preservative cake, if you don't hear from us after 24 hours, check up on us!" then my grandma upon seeing the cake with icing sugar all over it said " they sprinkle that on so you can't see the little white worms!" everyone is such a smartass in my family,

The cake was kinda on the dry side, and I'm not a fan of cake, but I don't think I'll die.

Ooh, hope you have a relaxing break, Lindsay! and I did have a good work day, did a lot of stuff, and had surprise pizza for lunch in the staff room!

Leanne, I think I've had cake like that before (where it's okay for it to be un-refrigerated). Cakes like that are usually dry and I prefer cakes made the 'normal' way.

Me too, the cake has to be moist and chocolate. When I worked in prison, you know prison food is lousy but I remember eating some chocolate cake in the cafeteria and it seems like the best version of chocolate cake I ever ate? Maybe the oil made it moist, but surprisingly I thought it was good cake, for not being a "cake person"

My day is Leanne's terrible, horrible, no good very bad day! Combination of being a girl, an Aspie whose being triggered and other stuff right now. Hoping I'll feel more human tomorrow. And too bad, there is a family dinner where not just my immediate family is around but my extended due to my grandma visiting, I just want to go to bed and away so I don't have to feel anything!

thanks, Lindsay. I'm optimistic about tomorrow cause I'll be at work and right now I've been organizing over at work and I thrive when I'm busy at work, to get my mind and heart off of other things.
