Thanks guys! It feels good when you've accomplished a lot at work and then that bleeds over into how you feel after work. Atleast for me it does.

Sarah - yes, I'm only a couple of hours north-west of you, so our weather should be similar. It's overcast here, but we haven't got much rain.

Kia - I've heard of the concerns about blue light effecting sleep, but didn't realize they could treat glasses to counteract that. I'll have to ask about it when I get mine replaced. As to melantonin, I haven't had much luck with it, but I know lots of people who take it.

I take melatonin sometimes, and every time I do, I go to sleep so it does help. I just wouldn't want to take it every time and become reliant.

I think it's overcast here today. Might burn off but I'm getting jealous of those getting rain, I feel like I haven't even seen rain this month so far. I miss the sight and sound and smell of rain!

Glad you feel happy and accomplished from work, Lizzy that's a good feeling when getting home after being productive!

Leanne, it's a dystopia world where women have no rights. Lizzy also summed up what the book/TV show is about. I don't even like dystopia and yet I can't stop watching the show.

Amy, have you read the book? I'm planning on reading it soon before we get S2 next year.

Lizzy, I like the feeling of being accomplished at work. As well as finishing work before the day is over.

Kia, I don't take melatonin so I can't really say much about it. In all my life, I've never really had a problem with sleeping. Just put me on a couch or bed, I'll fall asleep. Lately, I just watch TV, read or listen to music and I will fall asleep.

Vicki, wow, congrats on that car! Looks totally awesome! to me, it seems like streets in English cities are kind of scary to drive on? Like narrow roads and mostly parallel parking?

I'm so amused right now, I'm watching the tv show "Zoo" and out of nowhere this lady character appeared dramatically and introduced herself saying "I'm Leanne Duchovny" I wasn't at all expecting to hear a name like that for realz! Now I'm giggling like a school girl.

Lindsay - I have not read the book. I have only seen the show.


I do not take melatonin. I am like Lindsay. I lay down and I pass out pretty much immediately. It's very rare for me to have a night where I can't get to sleep. I don't know anyone who takes it themselves, but I do know a couple people who give it to their kids so their kids go to sleep easier and they don't have to spend time getting them to go to sleep. I don't think it's a good idea so I don't do it, but everyone parents differently.
